    I was not thrilled when I first heard of us agreeing a fee but I am coming around a bit now which is a quick turn around considering I only found out 6 hours ago. I would imagine that this would be our dealings done for this window which is impressive considering it was done with only a £38M net spend and £24M if Borini goes. Should leave us a fair bit to strengthen in January. Not sure what position we will need strengthened in January though.

    Probably a decent keeper to challenge Mignolet and a quality DM. Once we have those two positions sorted our squad is very strong indeed.

    Some United fans on twitter absolutely livid about how quickly we got this deal rolling and nearly completed compared to how long they have taken over their deals (Vidal, Di Maria etc.).

    Clearly they never kept track of the Moreno transfer <whistle>

    With Moreno we also seemed to have got the price from £20m to £12m whilst they through crazy money at Saints for Shaw.

    Surely you won't be getting Eto'o if you get Balotelli?
    Eto'o may be your fall back option if the Balo deal doesn't go through, like he was our fall back when we failed to get Rooney.

    Hell yeah, bring on Balotelli, this season was getting boring already!! Back to watching each game with my heart in my mouth, wondering if the blue touch paper will light!!! F##k knows if he's the right signing.....but if he slots in well (really have no idea if he will!!) and at 24, could be a bargain! All I know is that every set of fans that have supported him, like the guy. Am hoping we'll all be liking him quickly!!!

    I imagine the scum papers are lining up a few 'specials' already. Brace yourselves......
