Not the team or the coaching staff, the tadgers phoning Clyde. Every one of them knows what's wrong, except they are all saying different things.
Yesterday before the game , the manager came up to the fans waving his arms , normally it's the fans that lose the plot , but 5 mins before the game it's our manager .
One rule for the manager and one for us supreme beings, the green brigade. How very dare he speak to our fans.
CHARLIE Mulgrew sparked an online rammy yesterday after denying he was chased by angry fans following Celtic’s disastrous Champions League exit. Rumours had circulated online that the player was forced to make a run for his car after irate supporters spotted him laughing on his way home from the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Maribor. The defensive midfielder tweeted: “This is the first I’ve been on twitter for a few weeks. Just to clear things up I didn’t leave the stadium laughing last week after the game.” He then added: “Also the rumours of me being chased to the car are rubbish. Some wee Ned calling himself a Celtic fan shouted abuse as I walked to the car.” But Mulgrew’s comments didn’t appear to placate fans furious at Celtic’s poor recent performances. Supporter Ian Donnelly tweeted in response: “some wee ned” Nice to see you’re not judgemental Charlie bhoy!” Ryan McGregor added: “You are too f*****g slow to get chased.” Jimmy Two Times said: “You and the rest of the players should start to step up and prove that you deserve to play at Celtic.” Mulgrew was part of the Celtic side which flopped against Maribor Meanwhile, Stephen Harper added: “If you had a baw the ned woulda took it aff u.” Other Celtic fans however leapt to Mulgrew’s defence following the online criticism. Kevin Barron said: “I don’t think real supporters ever doubted u Charlie, stick with it and get us out of this mess mate cheers.” Another fan said: “The abuse currently being directed at @charlie_mulgrew is f*****g disgusting There is an element of our support that are a total embarrassment.” And David Ballantyne also supported the star pointing out that he was named PFA Scotland player of the year in 2012. He responded to a critical fan by tweeting: “Well done d**k head. Abuse a plyr who gives his all for celtic in sev dif pos. Ppl forget he won P.O.T.Y.”
I don't speak gibberish but I'm sure this sums up the feelings of the majority of Celtic fans on the matter.
I can see what he is trying to do. The problem is he doesn't have the pace yet in the forward areas to press the ball faster and win it back quicker. Against utd it worked beautifully, but we can't expect every game to be like that in the beginning. Take a breath and give the guy a chance
It worked against UTD because they sat of us and defended deep in their half. Same with the first half against Maribor. Anybody that has attacked us has gave us problems.
