Brondby. Him and fridjonsson gone there.

Was reading about danny welbeck going to arsenal there. £105k a week in wages. No wonder celtic cant buy a decent striker when ****heads like him are on that

I said a similar thing on another thread, Villa have backed out of signing Tom Cleverley because of his wage demands.

Celtic are working on a transfer deadline day deal for Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

Celtic turned to the 22-year-Swede after a deal for Sporting Gijon striker Stefan Scepovic fell through.

Having failed to make the breakthrough at City, Guidetti has had previous loan spells at IF Brommapojkarna, Burnley, Feyenoord and Stoke City.

Meanwhile, Celtic forwards Teemu Pukki, Amido Balde and Holmbert Fridjonsson have moved away on loan.

Pukki and Fridjonsson have joined Danish club Brondby, while Balde has gone to Belgian club Waasland Beveren.

Midfielder Dylan McGeough has made the shorter move to Hibernian for the remainder of the campaign.

Guidetti made his one and only appearance for Sweden in 2012, coming on as a half-time substitute in a friendly with Croatia.

He is in the final year of his City contract and was a prolific goalscorer during his time at Feyenoord. However, a January move to Stoke last season was not so productive, with the striker making just six appearances as a substitute and failing to find the net.

Jo Inge Berget, Aleksander Tonev, Jason Denayer and Wakaso Mubarak have all arrived at the Scottish champions on loan this summer, while free agent Craig Gordon was manager Ronny Deila's first signing.

Latest reports from Spain suggest Stefan Scepovic is now on brink of signing for Celtic again having pulled out of the deal earlier on.

Could Parkhead chief executive Peter Lawwell pull two rabbits out of the hat in the one night?

CELTIC are delighted to confirm the signing of Serbian internationalist Stefan Scepovic on a four-year deal from Sporting Gijon.

The 24-year-old becomes Ronny Deila’s sixth recruit of the summer transfer window following the acquisitions of Craig Gordon, Jo Inge Berget, Aleksandar Tonev, Jason Denayer and Mubarak Wakaso.

Having started his career at OFK Beograd, the striker had stints at the likes of Club Brugge and Partizan Belgrade before enjoying a prolific spell in Spanish football.

Capped eight times by his country, the hitman opened his account for Serbia in their 5-0 victory over Macedonia last October and will bolster the club’s attacking options.
