I'm a little worried about the fan backlash for the Hull game... and the negative impact it will have on our players...

I'm always a 'back the team for 90 mins'... then vent after type of chap but with all the goings on... and a potential loss to Saints... the atmostphere will I think be rather toxic. Add to that Benni sat in the stands again... chants of 'Hatem Ben Arfa' are bound to ring out and I can't see Pardew stepping out of the dugout at all.

Brace yourselves for a tough shift the next time we attend a home game..............

God forbid if we do lose... this game will be the trigger for Pardew to start blaming the fans again then all hell will break loose and the bedsheet brigade and coffin carriers will be out in force.

I was going to go to the next home game but i think I'll give it a miss for the next few. The atmosphere is going to be awful especially if we loose to Southampton.

no doubt it'll be poor cisse's first game back too.....

It's kind of ironic - A home game against Hull where the atmosphere will probably be toxic and full of hatred.......deja vu anyone?

I'm glad HBA has gone and I'm not fussed about him playing for them really.

Lets be straight, the atmosphere has been fairly toxic for quite some time. Its only going to get worse. I think the fans will feel badly let down by the window overall, they already dislike the owner and manager, its going to be the usual bumby ride.

I couldn't care less f**k the players they still get paid and if we really want to stop them wasting their careers we can make a difference

    Take your medicine

No doubt you'll get the same tactful let's turn up and support the team

That boring **** shearer will come out saying the same but he's a genius footballer not a politician

    Stupid ****s

Like I said yesterday, it's absolutely disastrous PR, whether you believe Ben Arfa is a great talent, or whether you're wrong <laugh>

THIS could be the season that breaks the fan's backs. A really poor season, and why the hell would anyone renew their ST? Only the ten year commitment guys are stuck.

The problem we have - People may cancel ST's but there always other mugs that will take 'our' place. Ashley knows this so isn't worried about people cancelling. It's the same with shirts. The quality is crap but there are always people that will the shirt due to blind faith. I didn't get this seasons shirt [or last seasons] but there would have been another 5 people that would have.

I am sick of this **** now. This is my last season as a ST holder. I'd cancel already but I've been paying since March.

I genuinely don't know, I was offered the ten year thing twice and as I was paying for two at the time, I was like f*** that ****. I thought it was part of the deal that it was a solid commitment to pay for ten years, unless you back out at a specific time in the terms and conditions, which was around april this year?

I gave my Dad my ticket, 10 year one I/he was paying yearly, we missed the cutoff point to cancel (no letter giving any notice, snide ****s), I simply didn't pay, I rang them up and said what can you do if I don't pay and the woman said that honestly they'll do **** all

I hope the atmosphere is an exact replica of the Cardiff game at the back end of last season. It's the only way Pardew will start hating his job, it's embarassing for him and his reputation takes a hit because of it. Long may it continue.

I have a feeling that the Hull game will show him how much he is hated.

I can't cancel mine until January and I'm doing it this time I've had enough of this regime. I will continue to support team but from the arm chair and pub.

You may get your wish. Don't forget that we've won at SJP the last three times we've played there.

No one wants us to lose mate. We're just speculating on the atmosphere we will see.
It's quite likely you lads will take 3 points.
