we certainly need a creative player to play on the left so I wonder who Brucie will turn his attention to now. Kranjcar as someone has already mentioned would be class IMO I would go for either Guardado at Deportivo or Barnetta at Leverkusen
Kranjkaer or Jarvis are both fantastic players, but both right footed, we need balance. I'm struggling to think of a left footed player i'd want, Guardado is a fantastic player and Depor are nearly bankrupt, but he's 5'5 and i think he'd really struggle. Keisuke Honda? He'd cost a few quid, but a free kick specialist, scores stacks, 6ft?

Not just the World Cup mate, he has been doing it constantly, for club and country, for 5 years or so. He's scored 50 career goals, and 34(!) of them have been free-kicks, an incredible stat. He's also quick, strong, skilful on the ball and can deliver a superb ball in. We were linked, briefly in January, so maybe we have an interest. Big problem? CSKA will be paying him frankly extraordinary wages.
Agree with most of the above: this saga has went on far too long, so it is now time to put it to bed and move on.
To be fair its not really a saga as Bruce might not have even considered him its just all paper speculation and rumours on message boards. The last thing I want to do is line that fat pie eating bastard Whealen's pockets, I hope nobody bids for him and they have no money for transfers next season. Whelan bangs on about Bruce's "dodgey" signings but N'Zogbia is another who looks like he is going to make Wigan another healthy profit, when Villa use the Downing/Young money to buy him. He is just looking for a pay day, no loyalty what so ever but it begs the questions who to get in for the left wing, Matty Etherington/Elijah but it has to be someone left footed who wont cut inside all the time.

Eljero Elia, to be pedantic, you're both wrong Class player, quick as a flash, but again, right footed. If we're going right foot on left, we already have Sessegnon. Any addition needs to be lefty.
