You may be surprised to learn that out of all the PL clubs last season, the one that had the most supporters arrested for football-related crimes was:

    Manchester United.

City came second and Arsenal third. Thankfully, we only made the EL spot of 5th.

No. I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised, at all. <ok>

No doubt the red mancs will feign horror at it, though. <whistle>

Can't remember who asked it on Twitter but do the police compile arrests at all other publicly attended sports and if not, why not?

Everton's 47 arrests included one for violent disorder, 19 for public disorder, two for missile throwing, three for pitch invasion, 12 for alcohol offences, two for ticket touting and one for possession or use of an offensive weapon.

So we're more violent than Everton? Is that because it hard to have passion about Everton so it never gets as far as violence... <whistle>

A few years ago, and insurance company claimed that the car involved in the most accidents was a Ford Sierra.

No one had noticed that it had been the best selling model for 3 years.

didn't realise you were that dense Milk.

It means you can make a statistic about anything. Following the same line, you could say that United had the most left handed supporters, or the bigger number who wear glasses, travel by tram etc etc. Seeing the ground outnumbers everyone elses by at least 20,000, you could make anything fit
