What Idiot spends most of his time posting profanity and sickening gestures on a forum. You need locking up, some of the disgusting things you come out with, I bet you harmed animals as a child didn't you.
If people disagree with CTWD then why not set up their own chant of Hull Tigers etc. Boo-ing is disgusting for whatever reason and killed the atmosphere stone dead. It is such a negative response to anything and I am very very sad that Allam has managed to divide the fans like this. At least "City till I Die" is and always was a relevant chant.
Craig - do you honestly think the FA will (a) nod the 'Doctor's' plan for a name change through (on appeal); and (b) change it back again? You're one of these 'temporary'/'give it a go' types. What is the rationale behind his plan for a name change, beyond his 'no-one tells me how to run my business' fandango? Where is the 'evidence' that such a move will bring untold riches? Even his own son - who fears him - admitted that there was no sponsorship dependant on the name-change. AA has admitted it too, in a moment of un-customary honesty.
I loved the "where were you when we was ****" chant. We would still be **** (or playing in the non-league) with grimsby without Allam. Irony eh?
Funnily enough - many people in this City, including myself can't afford "Premier League Prices." I was there at virtually every Championship home game that I could make - but now unfortunately wait for a Cat. C and the occasional Cat. D game. to actually go and support the team I've supported since I was 6, 15 years ago. Also, 21,000 people did not go to City during the 00/01 season and we were nowhere near a Championship team then - so don't be so narrow minded. The club was minutes away from going out of business back then, and those were the days people used to go to a crumbling Boothferry Park on a soaking Tuesday night.
If the name changes it will be a very long time before it ever changes back regardless of whether the decrepit senile old **** does the right thing and ****s off or not. He'll sell the licences for the brand and that will be that.
Nope. And as for accusing the flaskers, I suspect most of those flaskers have been going to City for the past 40 years.
"further investment" From who exactly. Where are these far eastern businessmen ready to pour **** loads of money into Hull Tigers. Don't tell me you honestly think that because of a name change thousands of people will stop buying Man U shirts etc and join us instead. There is no business sense in what he wants to do. Tell you what Ehab said today they want to continue to bring investment into the club so what if the name change goes through and DOES NOT bring in more money - what the hell will the old man think of next?
"For the first time, I was able to make out some of the words to these chants. Slightly embarrassed about the one with the line about "the greatest football team the world has ever seen" but the rest of the chants seemed good fun. Can you ever get it into your head - everybody knows we wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for AA's cash? That isn't the point. The point is that he has embarked on a 'one man against the world' crusade, with his stupid 'Hull Tigers' obsession. Wise up, man!
Yeh. They went in the 60s and maybe 70s. But, by and large, stopped going in the 80s and 90s. Returned in the new century glory years.
Fair play to you mate, it is an expensive hobby. I was referring to the Championship not League 1/2 etc, some posters was talking about that they wouldn't be there if we were in the championship. Nice to have a friendly debate for once, out of all of the "no to the tigers" members on here your the only one who posts sensible and balanced opinions, others should learn from you.
It seems some people prefer Premier League football over Hull City. Here's a thought, why don't you stay at home next time, and watch Chelsea or Man Utd on Sky? By the way, where do I sign up for CTWD?
