Instead of you bellends constantly posting your insane ****, most notably thudds, a disgrace of the usage of huddlestones name why not give a shred of evidence of why allam bellend thinks its beneficial, secondly, why changing the name would be beneficial? and thirdly why do YOU think changing the name would be beneficial? answers regarding ( better players, and premier league safety don't count) i expect a 3 page essay, since you're so pro allam.. chop chop ps. no wuming bollocks, serious posts only, except mine
because my username is my own unique identity, it's certainly not a decade old never mind a century, nor has it been involved in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, for a start why, because ive changed it, do i get loads of extra income? cant prove me wrong can you, im right your wrong, im going to be rich now, and this is not a dispute against allan mcgregor or brady, its because i will get extra income in the scottish and french regions, now boo anyone who proves otherwise
There is no proof ot will increase income. There is no proof it wont increase income. There is no proof we'll become a top 5 side of we change. Theres no proof we'll be in divosion 4 if we don't. Theres no proof of any outcome because thos hasn't been tried at this level nefore. When Dr Allam took us over, we were a struggling second division team with massive money troubles so severe we could have disappeared forever. Since taking is over he has deliver a top class manager, premiership football, an FA cup final, European football and a transfer window that I would never have dared to dream of. Dr Allam is ambitious, he's proved that with hos other businesses as well as with us. People like him always believe they can get more amd will take risks and be innovative to try amd get it. Enough just isn't enough. I believe it would be worth a try, nothing else he has done jas damaged the club and I don't believe he would deliberately dp anything to damage it. Just so you're aware, o don't particularly like the name "hull tigers", but it won't stope supporting my team. Ps, sorry for crap spelling, phone the size of a stamp and fingers like sausages don't make for good grammar!
That's not entirely true, Vincent Tan believed that changing the Cardiff kit to red would improve their marketability in Asia, where the colour red is lucky. Cardiff had the worst selling shirt in the Premier League last season, partly because nobody in Asia started supporting them just because they had a red kit and partly because Cardiff fans didn't buy it because it wasn't blue. To suggest that football fans in Asia are so naive that they pick a team to support based on nothing more than kit colour, or name, is a completely ridiculous proposition, they pick teams based on success, nothing else.
The logical response would be, if they did choose to support a team and buy a kit based on it being red then they would choose Man Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal. Because they're successful.
Indeed, which is why the kit idea didn't work, there are lots of other red kits to choose from. There would be no other Premier League side called 'Tigers'...
The constant rubbish you spew on here, insulting all and sundry, hardly lends your posts, never mind threads, any credibility. You might want to consider that.
This has probably already been discussed a long time ago but... would it be possible to market the club as Hull Tigers in Asia and have the official club name remain as Hull City?
It wouldn't even have to be marketed "as Hull Tigers" - the club could keep the name and still make the most of the nickname, colours etc to woo potential sponsors. But that requires a logical, flexible mind that "Dr" Allam has shown he no longer possesses.
I saw somebody saying it worked for MK Dons and I think they meant it seriously but who knows, seems like a large proportion of our fan base make their decisions totally irrationally like the owner does.
There's no other Premier League side with the word "skidmark" in their name. Hull Tigers is a unique name in the Premier League, but it's uniquely ****e and would make us the laughing stock of English football with fans comparable to MK Dons'.
Actually the question should be, why did you change your username and why did you move from Scotland? I changed mine because I like change. Change is good. You seem to be avoiding the issue though. As for Dr Allam, he's the man at the helm, he's steering the good ship Mighty Tigers through some turbulent waters, after helping us avoid a fatal iceberg. If he thinks its a good idea, its a good idea.
Said the Germans in the 1930s... *Invokes Godwin's law* Seriously though, how is it a good idea if he can't prove it will benefit the club in any way? By the way, him saying it will isn't proof.
