If you are going to tell a pack of lies, sunny Jim, do it to people who weren't actually there. I sit in the South Stand and there were plenty there booing. After the game a mate of mine, who sits in the East Stand, told me there were even people in there booing. The Anti-Name-Change-Protest opposition will keep growing because people want to support the club, not ridicule the owner, it's a straightforward as that.
That's novel. A rat not even at the scene of the (allegedly) sinking ship, but still threatening to desert it anyway. And he calls others "rats". Can you smell the stench of hypocrisy over that of Double Dragons sewers?
so no argument , just dismissing anything that is said to try and appease the situation ? ... my post was not for or against .. it was a post trying to see sense ... deal with the situation , not the poster .. try and make something out of a frankly terrible time supporter wise , it will get worse without simple communication , but it is in their court .. they made the monster , time to use it
That was stupid then. The FA rejected it, if they don't like that they can do anti-FA chants rather than turn against any supporters who do chants with the words City in it. They would be booing all game if they booed all of those chants.
I sit in the south stand. There were a FEW people booing I agree. Out of 5000 I reckon about 50. Easily identified as you don't hear a squeak out of them normally. Can we nail this nonsense once and for all about the "silent majority"on this issue. The only time this term is relevant is during the game, its nothing to do with booing just sat there...silently.
Maybe not such a great idea! Im just gonna roll with it and lord my doctorial, Allam'esque drivel upon you all!
You seem proud of the booing too. And you think singing City Til I Die is ridiculing the owner? **** off. You who proudly stated you'd teach your son to twat someone for standing up at a game, but you won't stand up for your football club, and worse still, condemn those who do? ****ing shambles.
PLT stop defending the singing of that song as innocent. It isn't. Not now. It's used as a tool to bludgeon a message home, and it's invariably followed by "we say no Allam". The booing was a less eloquent way of saying "You know what, we don't say no, we say yes". Bet you can't wait for the booing to be used as justification that actually, by continuing the appeal and arbitration process, Dr Allam was right to not let the majority down. That booing was a clear "yes, we want you to deliver on your promise and we trust you".
This has been coming for a while, just never imagine one man could light the touch paper so easily. Some of our lot really are a ****ing disgrace at times. Perhaps those who hid in the clubs darkest hour of need back then got what they deserved at 19.04. Thank fcku few lads I know at last will sell their soul as easily as some of the clueless ****ers did last night, the same parts of the ground it has to be said that usually empties quickly when things don't go so well UTT.
Embrace the madness! We've already kept our name, this ongoing PANTOMINE is hilarious. Bring on the boos and witty retorts, the fans have never got on anyway 'thermos flaskers' 'tiger travelers' 'prawn sandwich stand' 'scarf and mittens types' the insults have been flying for years, now we dont have to pretend to get along at games either! But it changes NOTHING because WE'RE KEEPING OUR NAME! It's f**ing fantastic.
