It seems like forever we've been interested in this guy! Nothing ever come of it, but the rumours still circling.

How would we feel if we signed him? Do you think TP will? I've heard five million... Fair price?

    Long live the rumour mill.

I would like to see him here, he's impressed me with his abilities when he's played us and in the League cup semi-final last season. I think he could be the man to replace Ric.

And I was in such a good mood after Federtwat got knocked out of Wimbledon, but this has brought me down to earth. Cole AND Jerome. Bloody hell, the prospect of 1 of them signing was horrible to bear but to hear we're trying for both of them is frightening!!!

Why by either striker that played for a club that got relegated. It doesn't make sense. You don't go down if you have got good forwards banging the ball into the net. Both of them are ****e and are playing where they both deserve in the championship. Let's just hope they both stay there and not given a lifeline by TP's naive dabbles in the transfer market. Both of them have Kitson written all over them!

Kitson was a better striker than Jerome and Cole. It was his ego and attitude that was the problem not his footballing ability.

I'm still clinging onto the hope that Cole fails his medical.

Kitson cost 5.5 million from a relegated club to warm the bench, and that's exactly what these two would do!

Hate to be pedantic, but Kitson didn't cost £5.5m. Don't know how much we spent but it was about £3m up front with a load of clauses that weren't met by the time he was sold.

    So mixed thoughts on Cole!

I'm undecided, I think I would prefer him over Jerome.

Waddo, are you a season ticket holder?

Will you be buying one this season?

Huth season ticket holder every year and already bought next seasons. Also for the record the week of the FA Cup Final I spent over £600 on Stoke. 3 FA Cup tickets, travel there and back, 2 new away tops, first instalements of the season tickets and the Arsenal and Wigan home games. Not to mention food and drink going to Wembley. So yeah I spend a lot of money on Stoke and expect Pulis to reward the loyal fans not dish up negative football and players other clubs laugh at!

i refer you too my answer on the other thread

Ps stoke do deserve wholehearted supporters like you, who have been through thin & thinner, all i can say is, wait & see who we bring in, 10 years ago talk of a carlton cole type player would have been laughed at, just realise where we have come from in those last 10 years.

Do not get greedy, we are not man city, man utd or chelsea, we are stoke city, we are still adapting, still learning.

I'll agree with you that we've played really bad negative football last season, for about half of it, and then the other half I've seen some of the best football I've seen Stoke play for years, and yes, we have terrible away form, but we are still progressing. And no, I'm not part of the "Tony Pulis is the messiah brigade", but I'm patiently waiting to see what signings we do make, and how the season starts before I criticise, because I'm quite happy with last season overall, with Europa this season, trying to push on in the league and all that might end up being too much for Pulis to handle, I don't know, because he's progressing forward as well as the team, but like I say, I'm waiting to see some of this seasons action before I whether or not he is good enough or not.
