Tough match away at west ham. With us looking dreadful at the moment, I can't see us getting anything. We will be bullied out of the game, 2-0 to West Ham.
i would take a 1-0 win, maybe even a draw, not as confident as some sadly lol. although now balo has scored, hoping it might kick start his goals count in the prem.
I doubt Sturridge will be fit. I think we should go with: ---------------Mignolet------------ Manquillo-Lovren-Sakho-Moreno ---------------Gerrard------------- -----Henderson-----Allen--------- ---------------Sterling------------- ---------Borini------Balotelli------- Subs: Jones, Skrtel/Toure, Flanagan, Lucas, Lallana, Suso, Lambert, Markovic. If all are fit. Coutinho needs a wake up call.
Allen is injured still I thought? Many might disagree but I think Borini up top with Balo is a good call. We need 2 up front, both speak the same language, and could compliment each other well: little/large, nimble/strong, workhorse/standsonthespotwithhandsonhips
Balotelli needs to be paired with a runner I will. Borini is a runner. - Where do people stand on Coutinho being in this game?
Will be a tough game but we should really still win IMO. Play with pace and movement, and their defence should struggle. Deffo nervous for the game though!
Agreed - whatever we do, we must play with the diamond. Borini may not be a world beater but he will move all game long and just provide more balance to the attack. Hopefully Allen is back and if he is, I think Coutinho will be dropped. Sterling will be at the tip of the diamond.
In his little cameo on Tuesday,I thought Borini looked sharp. Very nearly broke the deadlock having only been on for minutes. Couts has not been on his game at all so far this season and I agree maybe rest him for West Ham.
