    ''**** Shaw'' will do <ok>

Anyway onto the next debate - De Gea is better than both of Chelseas goalkeepers. Agreed ?

I will fully admit that in this case it is six of one half a dozen of the other.
Courtois and De Gea are both great keepers.
I dont think there is all that much between them,
Call it bias but I think Courtois edges it, winning La Liga and getting to the CL final last season.
Cech its hard to gauge, his record speaks for itself, but De Gea would probably edge it as he is younger.

I've not really seen people seriously label Shaw as **** or average but it's certainly too soon to be touting him as a great left back just yet either. Certainly has the potential to be top class but still very early in his career. I personally think he was over priced but English players come at a premium I guess.

I essentially I agree both United lads have a lot of time to fulfil what could be immense potential but as of today, I don't think either would get in our side. UIR will spout some bollox about us trying to sign him, but even if we had, he'd be sitting on our bench making up our English quota IMO. We spent 17 million on Luis and he hasn't played in the league yet as Azpi has been immense for the last year.

Well i just want to see what happens when i go and label you players as **** despite have zero idea about them.

I have a theory on how it may go down and i would like to test it.

    For science and ****. Maybe.

Probably right. Jose isn't exactly one for giving youth a chance. It's all about the here and now. Roman is as much to blame.

Far too easy with this chelsea lot. Far far to easy.

Its fair to say neither would swap players as we have got what suits our team. Better or worse? Impossible to tell as the clubs run as entirely different machines. United will always look to the future even when signing superstars. Chelsea won't as it doesnt suit their short term thinking.

I look forward to the game between us as it will be a real test of where we are and predictions will then be made about where we will finish.

    Can't believe some of this...

Jones is decent but needs to improve to reach his undoubted potential. Makes too many mistakes and needs to settle in a position (maybe not his fault). Cahill is definitely better right now - but he should be, being the maturer player, playing in a great defensive set up.

Carrick in his peak was a very different player to Gerrard, Lampard etc but for his position has never been 'world class' like they were in theirs. Carrick is a deep playmaker - the world class players in his position are your Pirlo, Scholes, Xavi. He's never been there.

If the players being labelled as **** had just won my team a 7th placed finish, I would take it on the chin.
The new signings are big improvements, if not exactly what the doctor ordered.
Your team isnt ****.....no one is saying that....but leaving aside the 4 games played this season (as it is 4 games), you are claiming United's defence has better players than Chelsea's who conceded the least amount of goals last season.....its pure madness.

Jones over Cahill or JT <doh>
    Rafael over Ivanovic <doh>
Come on dude!! Get a clue.

Over terry yes because hes slow old and getting worse not better. Jones is still learning but will do that only by playing games. Cahill is different as he would be a good partner for jones or rojo but hes nothing special. Jones could well be a great. Its about long term thinking.

Rafael has one poor season and hes forgotten about. Last summer, we were debating rafael or sagna as the best rb in the league. Thats rafaels level. Against qpr you saw more of that rafael. Thats why i would rather have him. When he hits form hes brilliant.

Theres a lot of bias on both sides here. Its normal. I think our cb's will be good this season and come may will be one of the best defensive units in the league. Blind and heerera are key to this as now our defenders will not be exposed as they were far to often last year. How good did yours look with fantastic protection last year?

United have had more of the ball than any side this season so far. With di maria as an outlet now we can turn our possession into goals. Thats almost a given with our attacking options.

I dont think theres anyone in your side i would swap tbh as what you have is perfect for chelsea. It really is and you are clearly looking good however, a week has changed the united side massively. Look at our side, its completely different to last seasons side. Its no longer scared of the ball or the opposition. Qpr were the first side at old Trafford beaten in the tunnel. Whatever van gaal has done, hes done it fast and its exciting.

I dont want to put my neck on the line but im quietly confident about this season. I think you guys will win it but the rest? Not convinced at all. Dare i say second place isnt unlikely? Risky business eh <laugh>

Good time to be a united fan.
