Good test of the strength of the squad on Weds. Both sides bound to make changes.

 

I hope Koeman only makes a few changes. Long for Mane/Tadic, Targett for Bertrand and Vic for Cork or Morgan.

 

Fair enough, happy to bow to the majority on that. I don't think it's one we could complain about though - Mane's though....just seems odd to scrub that one.

 

I'm most impressed that Pelle seems to know where *everyone* is at the moment. Great vision.

Watching choice, amazed at how much niggling off the ball tactics from Stoke players that has gone unoticed because none of the Saints players are resorting to histrionics to draw attention to it. Annoyed that the second commentator says Dusans free kick was a poor delivery, it was obviously a pre-planned, rehearsed move that didn't quite work but still had the desired effect.

 

Well we are beating teams that finished below us last season with varying degrees of comfort. Now we need to beat teams that finished ahead of us. Perhaps these teams raise their game against us as we are a possible threat to their status.

I just wish they would shut up about Koeman becoming the Netherlands manager.

 

That was Tony 'I am absolutely unbiased against any team especially if Saints play them' Husband asking the question. Way before Adam Blackmore and Kris Temple, he was Radio Solent's commentator. You would have thought he came down with the other team's local radio station, he was that bad. Yuck. Adam Blackmore is so much better.

 

Mane with 95% pass accuracy as well today.

 

You notice how they've stopped saying Saints couldn't possibly... to Saints have a tough couple of months coming up. Well, what happens if we are playing better than those sides, eh..? Going to be interesting.

 

Thought we were very good again today. It was a very different type of performance in the second, but we showed how disciplined we were, and how well we coped with their physicality.

Mane worked his socks off, and did very well defensively - my man of the match today. Toby and Jose excellent in defence though.

 

Agree, i was well impressed with Mane today, all over the pitch he did good work and was my MOTM.

 

I didn't know that Saints have the meanest defence across all every major league. So we've got that and we can score from all over the park as well. Really tasty..!
