We could still bring in the likes of Wanyama, Long and Gardos, none of whom started at the weekend. We could probably do a good job with Targett and McCarthy, or one of the two. We don't have enough depth up top right now, but rotations in midfield and defense should be possible. Stoke will rotate too. Diouf, Bojan, Assaidi, Sidwell, Huth and Arnautovic could all come in.
See no problem with Wanyama, Long and Gardos...only the latter player isn't a regular starter. Targett has played, so possibly him. Can't see beyond these though. I'd rather start strong and use subs if possible...better that than start with a weakened side and then throw first teamers on to chase the game.
Just found it. They basically edited Taïder out.
Did a little more than that DTLW. They replaced action from pre-season games with in-season game action. By the way, that's Koeman's pre-Stoke LC tie interview. Here's We March On:
Sounds like Long could play for Mane...any doubt best not to risk him. Also Targett may be given an opportunity. Good idea to stay up there for the Hull game...hadn't considered that. Did he seriously suggest we could have a Saturday game after a Friday one??? Surprised he hasn't come across playing the same team twice like this...I'm sure we've had it happen before. Seem to remember a time we couldn't get away from one team (can't remember who?).
I see Liverpool and Swansea are 0-0. Lambert started, but Lallana is on the bench. By what stretch of logic does Rodgers arrive at that he doesn't have Lambert and Lallana on at the same time..? They've only been playing together for the past 5 years. You'd think they might know a move or two between them. I don't care of course. It's just bloody odd.
