Shocking refereeing again. How many fouls did we commit for the 3 yellow and a red card.
The red was dreadful, truly dreadful.

but the fact is we were poor, defended too deep and again subs were ineffective.

My mate Taylor did well as did Shelvey ... Jonjo mom.
Dyer was fouled out of the game, Emnes, Fulton & Gomis couldn't hold the ball or pass accurately. Rangel and Montero took on too much and ended up having indifferent games. Fernandez still can't jump.
Ash was so,I'd until the first goal ... he looked out of position and that dragged Fernandez and Rangel out as well.

 

There were a lot of positives in the game for us, but I'm not sure Monk wound the ref up, I was watching on a french stream, and Monk was doing a lot of shouting at the ref? He has got to get smarter with these referees.........

 

We let it slip away even though liverpool were the better side. This is where experience told and fair play to liverpool for putting the pressure on when they had nothing to lose. thats what big clubs can do that we cant.....I enjoyed the game but we lost in the end because of lack of experience against a better side.....good effort though and another learning curve...

To be honest after the red card was quite relieved Liverpool scored - get the feck out of there without having to hang on for another half hour and lose anyway!

We've already won this thing before so good riddance, now let's concentrate on more pressing matters - tough run of games coming up so could be a blessing that we were spared another hard 30 minutes!
