Tom, nobody is bickering. There's the thing. It was just a reaction to a single poster who.....let's say.....has a reputation. That's all. It's done now.
People have different opinions is all, some people like to talk how we can improve and some just like to enjoy the win. I do not see what Saintdon did wrong he was just voicing what he thought and never did it in a bad way.
I can handle cocky...what I can't handle is seeing Stoke 2 on the tickertape when I turn on the TV...luckily just before Southampton 3 appeared. I'd have needed CPR if I had put the TV on earlier
Well, my opinion is that we *can* talk about how we can improve as well as the fact that we *should* enjoy the game, of course. But yes, neither should be shouted down, though in fairness, neither was, other than by one person. So we're all cool.
I don't say let the mistakes go, that's not the way to do it, but a decent interval between a victory and debating the pitfalls is surely worth a try, it gives you a bit of time to think about it and not make a fool of yourself?
Bickering is what LTL and CBK are doing. What Joe wants is the ability to voice an opinion without being shot down by everyone else.
If you voice a opinion you have to be ready for some one to disagree and say something back. Long as it doesn't involve personal insults I see nothing wrong.
I suppose the nest logical step is to ban him, despite him not having posted again since the warning.
I just didn't feel CBK needed to fly in calling me weird and telling me I know nothing about football etc. just because I dared mention that I had concerns about Forster (not necessarily in this game specifically). That was me just defending myself against an unnecessary bit of provocation. Certainly no issues with anything anybody else has mentioned or said. Back to the game, yes? Be it our pleasure or concerns!
Works for me, I am a dedicated Happy Clapper, hear no evil, see no evil, say no evil, but although not unique something of a rare phenomena, but I can dish it and take it. Nice first goal from Pelle. Neat second from Long.
From BBC coverage, Stokes first was a bit of a mish mash, Stoke took a quick free kick and too many players had switched off, including Fraser! Second goal Fraser was out of the loop, thought he was fouled before the corner and failed to concentrate when the next one came over, something I am sure RonKo can address. Crouch was stupid, nothing more to say, and a good finish from Pelle to win it.
Not claiming credit for this but "Many have tried and failed, but Pelle has done it on a cold, wet , wednesday night at Stoke"
Nice comments from Claridge too. Stoke's first was bouncing around and was a difficult one to judge, although a few Saints players had switched off including Fraser. Forster was definitely fouled during one of the corners, but he should have stayed focussed. Graziano Pellè is just unbelievable.
