Then again have on occasion had people round, mix everybody's drink in a jug and then take swigs of that...
Brown ale n cider snake bites are very nice. I can understand where Ya coming from RAW but it's a lovely taste is Brown ale. What happened to the Newcastle bit being stripped from the title. S&N breweries fought to call it Newcastle brown ale because of geographically where it was brewed. Tadcaster brown ale doesn't have the same ring to it but nevertheless that's where it's brewed now.
I get where RAW's coming from though, I'd never drink anything called 'Merseyside Brown Ale', it sounds like some kind of disease. I don't mind that Newcastle Broon stuff though, it's alright, my step dad insisted on me drinking it out of a half-pint glass for some reason.
Recommended to be drunk from a schooner. Supposed to be a genuine reason but I`ve no idea what it is.
I've never tried drinking it out of a boat to be fair pops. When my step dad isn't around I usually just drink it out of a pint glass. I've been off the booze for a year as a personal test, Xmas time I can drink properly again and I'm wondering what to break the fast with now, it's getting close!
I suggest you try it. Antarctica would be good. Been sampling Double Maxim recently. Rather palatable.
That's a local one isn't it? I'm sure I read about it when I was doing that quiz with Bri last week. I've got a case of Brooklyn Brewery mixed beer and ales, that I was given as a moving in present back in June, looking forward to that at Xmas.
It is mate. Sadly the brewery is now gone, but it`s being brewed again by another brewery to the original recipe. Well worth a slurp.
Drank these for years, though they're better with bulmers I'm my opinion. We call it a dog bite round here like
I drink Double Maxim now wherever possible. Brewed in East Rainton now. That Brooklyn brewery stuff isn't bad Terry. They sell it in The House of the Trembling Madness. A nice little bar in York
