To be blunt he's just not good enough to play for us any more. He's a ghost of his former self now due to age and injury and I seriously doubt he has it in him to get back to the level of 2 years ago.

Good luck to him, its a shame but he made his own decision.

    Qatar calling?

Napoli won 6-2 on the weekend, both the ex-Swans were non-playing subs.

From what I could see when I was researching Michu, De Guzman is picking up more minutes that him. He's playing second-fiddle to HamšÃk though, and rightly so. De Guzman has scored a goal too.

Big Big mistake for the both of them to join napoli. Michu will be back at the end of the season though and we should have a good look at him for fitness and decide what to do with him. If his head is right and is keen to play football again then we should keep him for the season and see how he does. Bony will be off at the end of the season for sure if he keeps up the tempo of recent games and we know what michu can really do if he wants......

Bony may well be off in January, if so can Michu be recalled?

If Bony is going to be sold in January, the club should already be looking for an adequate replacement - and be prepared to splash the cash. Let's say Bony continues in the same vein, he's gonna go for £20M plus, so we should be looking to spend a high proportion of that on a proven goalscorer. We don't want to be losing him on the last night of the window with no time to react.

indeed, I just wonder if Gomis is seen as his replacement ? <yikes>

He's not showed anything that makes me think he's on par with Bony yet in my opinion.....

To be fair to Gomis how can anyone make an impact playing 10 minutes here and there? He's a good player.

Selling bony in january will be daft unless we have got plenty more points on the board, much safer to sell him in the summer giving us time to find a new player at more resonable outlay.

Isnt it also the african cup in jan feb ? Cant see someone buying him then waving him goodbye!
