Heading back to chelsea as milan want to cut short his loan spell. Should we be interested in taking him on loan till the summer imo i would take the chance a think poyet could get him firing again hes a class act on his day but his confidence is shot.
Where would he fit into Poyet's system though? I think the general move away from 4-4-2 has killed him more than confidence just like Soldado and the likes of Bent.
He'd still want 100k a week man, no chance. Chelsea will want a massive wedge off Milan for them to cancel anyway, Milan are likely stuck with him.
He has chronic confidence problems. MLS is probably the best place for him, he'd do well there, he's finished in Europe though.
If he cost us not more than £40k a week I might be interested. But Chelsea aren't going to wear that, so Fernando, with regret, you're fired.
He's on 175k a week from what I read. Chelsea won't let him go on loan unless a team pays at least 100k or so of that. Not for me.
Fixed! Just my opinion though shameless!! I think, as mentioned before, he's finished in the game over here - his game relies on having someone next to him - he won't get that in our system so no point
I would take him, he still scores more goals than any of our strikers, he would fit the system playing up top on his own. The question is: Is he better than Graham and Altidore?? The answer is yes and if we got rid of both of them the cost would not be an issue. Think about it from a club PR point of view too, it would do a lot for us in that regard. But its never going to happen.
