Big ask at the saints as they are much better than us and should win going on form but football is never as easy as that, As regards jazz then if we have to rely on players of his standard and there are a number of players in the squad who are no better then we will struggle. The new players will probably need time but as we are so thin on the ground we may have to use them. we need players like Ash,ki to be playing to give a bit of stability but they are missing. If it goes to form then the saints will win 2-0...

Amat has played in front of the back four, I think on five or six occasions, and been poor every time.
I thought Routs and Ash were injured?
Shelvey will play as the boss sees something in him (apart from petulance, indiscipline and lack of concentration) and if he is still our player Gomis will start.

I wonder where we would be if Koeman had been appointed as our Manager last Summer?

Who knows , better or worse off .but while Monk is still at the Club he'll get my support but also my criticism when warranted. it's just a pity a few just see that as hatred

I don't think he'd play any better with a wig.

It's not what is on his head that's the problem - it's what's in it.

I fancy a draw game simply because we MUST respond to the last two defeats.

I like this line up, Emnes deserves a start and I think JJ will do better in the AM role

I think we're going through a bad patch that will continue. Team doesn't seem to have much confidence, not playing well, and best players gone or injured. I think we could lose 4-0. All depends on how they play on the day. We are quite inconsistent, so I wouldn't be surprised if we won 1-0 or lost 6-0.

    Yes we are looking thin on the ground, but here's my winning team for the Saints game;

    GK: Fabianski
    RB: Rangel (Naughton)
    CB: Fernandez, Amat
    LB: Taylor
    DM: Carroll, Leon
    AM: Emnes
    RW: Dyer (Barrow)
    LW: Montero
    ST: Gomis ( Oliviera)

    (Subs)

That's my winning team, and if Monk knows what's good for him that's what he'll play at Southampton, and I will make no concessions on the line up it's our strongest...........<ok>

Not bad Glam, but I don't want to see that bald useless git anymore ruining our game, Emnes I would prefer in the Siggy role............<cheers>

DPJ ... why did we just pay 5M for a sub at RB. I would expect Naugthon to start otherwise what was the point
