We have a 10 goal midfielder, o shea and Brown who have won trophies, Wickham who could be fantastic. But i wonder why Bruce did not sign Muntari a champions league winner?.There are rumours about Defoe being up here well get him signed pronto if that is true because he is what we need up front, i believe Bruce wil make one more fantastic signing before next week.

I must be a very sad man because I'm excited by the experience, mentality and potential these signings bring us .

O'Shea gives us such flexibility in defence he's like having extra subs on the bench because of the positions he can cover and I think he's could become another Irish legend at Sunderland (how many people were really excited when we first signed Quinn I wonder?)

Brown was unlucky playing in a Man Unt team of such immense talents that he never got a chance to shine as he might have in lesser teams.

And seriously OP - you cannot even be bothered to find out one of our new signing's names or nationality and then wonder why your views are ridiculed!

I would like to put a different spin to this and ask the OP, how he would be feeling right now if the club hadn't signed anyone thus far and that another side for e.g. Bolton had been signing the player's that we have instead. I know for sure I'd be looking over my shoulder with a touch of envy.

Well as I'll say again, the signings are good signings but they arnt going to get me off my feet. I supported Bruce even when you lot were trying to hound him out (check my posts) I still support him now. I believe they are solid signings, but we still need class that's all.

And no mate, I don't lose sleep, it's an Internet forum. The thing that makes me laugh is, I've been called fickle and apparently make people feel sick? But I was well pleased with 10th place and supported bruce and Quinn. Can I ask where are the people that wanted Bruce and EVEN Quinn out now??

As soon as we make some signings they just swing straight back, like a bunch of sheep. Idiots if you ask me. And they know who they are, and there is a fair few.

Think he was asking if you liked drinking Pimms through a curly straw, whilst doing the pogo to the soundtrack of Armageddon.

To be fair I agree with gb, none of the signings do excite me, but are good signings in there own right, and for that idiot to say all the top clubs in europe will be after wickham in 4 or 5 years how can you say that he's had half a good season in the championship! Yes he's a massive potential but to say he excites you more than gyan and bent your talking stupid, Francis Jeffers was a massive potential and went to arsenal when he was around 20 years old for £10 million look at him now! I'm not saying wickham is going to be a flop I hope and think he will be a massive success but come on get in the real world!

Quite honestly these are decent signings.

The fact is we can't actually afford th e wages of any player who would really get me excited and they wouldn't come to Sunderland anyway.

I am happy to see our manager making a platform on which to build for the future and the whole unit now has me quite excited.

If you call people idiots then you really will get their backs up.

You're being wound up and biting.

People are by nature fickle. This applies to everyone other than raving fanatics so don't get so upset just because people don't agree with what you have written.
