Co-operative sells Salopian, Hobsons, and Ludlow.
Tesco has Wye Valley HPA and Dorothy Goodbody, and Woods. Also have a few other sort of local.
Sainsbury s has Wye Valley and Woods
Morrison's has Wye Valley and I think Woods.

Co-operative is the best choice for Salop beers.

Nice trip out to Brum last night to see Ross Noble at the New Alexandra. Excellent beers in the Post Office Vaults, Bacchus Bar and Victoria before hand and a couple of halves in the Craven Arms afterwards. Post Office Vaults had Salopian and Hobsons beers on.

ASDA has bottled ales on offer at 4 for £5 at the moment. Got a load of Wye Valley, Purity and Castle Rock beers in for Christmas.

Most of those beers are light in alcohol and body as a house style....they are designed as session beers! I love that phrase; the thought of having a whole session drinking it. The kidneys work well and there's usually no headache. <ale>

When you're young you go for the 5+% stuff and the older you get you drop down and like the 3.8+% stuff.

Admittedly I am always sorely tempted by Sara Hughes Dark Ruby Mild at 6.5% though. It drinks like milk. Salopian Golden Thread is really nice but too strong for me.

Well that's the beauty of having drinking as a hobby!!!! Sometimes light, sometimes heavy, sometimes dark, sometimes blonde....it's a bit like choosing a partner!!!!

I really like proper job, much better that tribute which I admit "I've just got used to it" so it isn't special anymore. My mate reckons the st austell yellow name one, yellow hammer? Is the best though but only found locally.

Tesco do four Proper Jobs for £6.

Your club house is more dusty and deserted than our's. Not enough drinking going on in here. you need to get some nuts....

Just seen the Burton v Carlisle result and it's unbelievable. Did the Ref wait till Burton scored to blow the whistle or something. 98th minute and your other rivals for the title scored the winner last night in the 102nd, Is there a conspiracy do you think?

We also scored an equaliser last night. No wait a minute. It was disallowed because the Linesman (none of them deserve the title of Assistant Referee) forgot his glasses.

It does look a tad suspect regarding the extra time goals...

KDS, glad you subscribe to my idea of still calling them 'linespeople'....they have only a negative effect on matches....in Div2 they are useless! Greg Dyke and others have all these grandiose ideas ....best one would be to improve officiating but that's too simple for an ex-media man who sees only pound (or is it dollar) signs. I'm not a Liverpool fan (hate them really) but they should have an equalizer on Sunday....crass officiating!
