Would have prefered us and Grimsby to go up. But unfortunatley little ole Barnet went up and going by the 1st leg of the play offs, it seems like it will be out of us and Grimsby at Wembley. But we have a 2nd leg todat to finish off the job that both sides failed to finish off in the 1st legs. Will that come back and bite us and Grimsby in the ass? Soon find out. All I know is if its Eastleigh vs FGR in the final, you will be lucky to get 20,000 and thats including 7000 who already got wembley tickets from neutrals! If it will be us vs Grimsby then you are looking at 60,000 plus.

 

I wasnt going to leave yet but I just had a call from a mate already up by the Mem. Its busy up there already apparently! I better get going then.

 

Hope we play and beat Grimsby at Wembley. Don't want FGR or the Whingers to make the final. Looked on the Grimsby forum they seemed to think that they could beat us quite easily

Watched both games on TV, (dont like crowds). Rovers were far superior in all aspects of the game.
They have pace and skill, they won most of those 50 /50 balls, mainly because they were quicker in thought as well as skill.
Please may it continue,i expect Grimsby to be a bigger threat than Forest Green, but not a problem the Rovers can not overcome.
In our manager we have faith

 

Grimsby it is then 2-0 up (4-1) was hoping it would be Eastleigh

 

Should be a great final. It will be close, but we should have enough in the tank to get past Grimsby. I'm sure DC will have the lads up for it and well prepared for the final.

 

Well done Gasheads. Even though I'm a staunch City fan, I wish the Blue Crew well at Wembley and hope you make it a double celebration for Bristol.

What a great year. Best of all, we've put all that toxic stuff of the past few years behind us. We're having fun and The Mem's a great place to be again.

 

I hang my head and admit how wrong I was with some of the stick I gave to DC and NH in the early part of the Season on this forum. I can honestly say that my opinion of DC changed when he attended an WSM Supporters Club meeting last Autumn at The Windsor Castle. It was apparent then that he had the Clubs best interest at heart and was determined that he would be proved to be the Man to get Rovers back in the FL.

So well done to Daryll and his squad for almost completing the job. I take my hat of to you and want to say thanks for a very interesting season that hopefully will end well for you and all Gasheads.
