Samba Diakite back in a better mental state and in the squad, looks a bit late for it, and I have no idea what is really going on with the lad but would love to see a few of those runs and a player given a chance to prove himself, we do love a mad one down Loftus Road!

Can't take the chance with him. Time to sell and get a few quid.

Doubt we will get any money for him, would like to have seen him do a pre season and take it from there, however by all accounts he lost it mentally :(

Good to see Mental Health issues being taken seriously by one and all.

He's a lunatic on the pitch. If he's had genuine mental health issues off the pitch then I feel for him and it makes him even more of a liability rather than an asset to the football club.

The poor guy has had a mental condition, anxiety/clinical depression, something like that I believe.
Why does that make him a lunatic? Maybe you need to rephrase that.

edit: just seen your post about being a lunatic on the field....fair enough :emoticon-0148-yes:. Still a wrong choice of word though imo, bearing in mind his background of mental health issues.

He was great fun, when on the pitch. A real shame that something went wrong.

Depression is a horrible condition which I've suffered from myself but I don't think it's beyond a bit of humour, not that that was what I was intending earlier.

If Diakite is still suffering from it then I'm sure the club is paying for the best that money can buy to treat it. Don't honestly believe he should still be earning well over a million quid a year though out of the club.
