I can see Norwich accepting that tag. We probably still owe something on Snodgrass, say half. £3.5m (based purely on AA intimating we would pay fees over the course of contract) they could have Brady for circa £6.5m. That doesn't look like us 'trying' to hang on to our best players. For Norwich that's almost an open invitation.
If you want to look at it this way - which is fine - it also means regarding the purchase of Snodgrass as a 3.5m deal, which is a bit of a steal, so it goes both ways.
sorry if this has already been mentioned but it looks like Hernandez is going out on loan http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2015/06/chievo-confirm-striker-agreement-with-hull-city/ Apparently if it goes well he could go for 8-10 mill at the end of the season
Apology accepted. Plus the 8-10 million is in Euros. With what's happening with Greece at the moment, I wouldn't be inserting any clauses containing euros into contracts.
I doubt Harper would go to Sunderland??? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/06/2...terested-in-former-newcastle-goalkeeper-stev/ Vito Mannone anyone?
Or we've now paid the market rate for a player who has had a serious knee injury, even though that injury was with us. Whilst probably selling Brady for well below the quoted "Won't sell for less than £15m"
But the deal is in Euros so could well be worth much less at whatever exchange rate applies at that time
And City weren't willing to let him go on loan - it HAD to be a sale (is what I read, previously). Climb-down, or what?
We will be paid in Sterling so the exchange rate will have no effect on us. Ignore the currency in that article, no one would accept payment in a foreign currency. It's standard practice to pay for goods in the merchants currency.
Hdm reporting Norwich have bid £2m for brady. Steve Bruce admits Diame is likely to leave if he regains fitness. The quote actually states that SB is confident of the out goings of a fit Diame along with Jela and ndoye- notably (and worryingly) didn't include unabel on that list!
