I really hope you're right! And good spot on my typo 'guy feeling' - unless your phone made the same autocorrect?
Hopefully, quite soon because Charlie doesn't fit in with how CR is setting up our team. Shoot me down, but we don't need him anymore. Show me the money!
Ramsey ... '' Austin might stay.'' http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...s-ramsey-austin-might-stay-at-qpr_234930.html
Surely Villa will come in for him in the very near future. We should set a cut off date and announce it to other clubs, put in the asking price by this date or don't bother, if he goes he goes but we need time to reinvest the money!
Strange to play him nearly the whole game last night if he's going. Surely would make sense for next season's likely players to play.
I think I heard that CR is on TalkSport tonight from 20:00? I'm sure the subject of Austin will come up a lot.
QPR manager Chris Ramsey has confirmed that the Championship club has rejected two official bids for striker Charlie Austin. Read more: http://metro.co.uk/2015/07/23/qpr-m...ers-for-charlie-austin-5309248/#ixzz3giozpW75
Tim Nice but Dim is after his mate Adebeyor from Spurs which I suspect will rule them out from making a bid for Austin...... The list of clubs that are likely to sign him is getting smaller and smaller as clubs buy/loan in other strikers, maybe our valuation is putting clubs off?
If we could somehow manage to keep hold of Austin then my next season expectations of mid table will change to playoffs at least, well as long as we sort our defense out anyway. I'm glad we are sticking to our guns on this and holding out for the asking price. I guess Tony has got a new belt so he does not get caught with his pants down anymore...
Aston Villa are close to signing former Leicester midfielder Esteban Cambiasso, 34, and Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede, 26. Add in Adebeyor too and there is no room for Charlie there either....I am beginning to think he may be staying
I have thought all along he would stay. He seems fairly down to earth and when he could of moving in Burnley he stayed. If he stays he is easily a 25 goal striker in this league. Maybe in next transfer window we can look at how it is going.
Exactly what we thought about Remy last year...besides, I'm not sure we will be set up for Charlie to thrive next season.
They're also in for Jordan Ayew so not looking like Villa which surprises me a little as would have thought they'd be a good fit.
Have to stay quiet on this as I just don't know! Followed the good old R's since I was 10- or 11-years-old, and believe me, that's a hell of a long time! Why I say 'I don't know' because, before the last horrible season started, I thought we had a good squad, capable of holding its own in the top league. Stupid me! So, I wish Chris Ramsey all the luck that's going, and hope to hell he's got his numbers right. I repeat, I know bugger all!
Remy had a release clause and most everyone except Harry and maybe you thought he would probably go. Austin probably will too - he has never really fitted the way we have played but still scored, so I'll be happy if he stays, and also if we sell him for at least £15 million.
