Now WO says Barton is NOT training with Watford. Is this Mr Barton's agent trying to get his man an offer from somewhere?....Anywhere?.... Hopefully not from us.
There is noise of Joey Barton and Watford again after his possible move to West ham United did not pass.
There are some things I don't care a fart on But they do not include Joey Barton If we opened our doors He'd be certain to cause More trouble than a barbed wire milk carton
I don't want him either....nobody at the club is giving any hints... in fact the opposite... and yes we now have Behrami
WO: Alessandro Diamanti’s loan move to Watford from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande is unlikely to go through in time for the attacking midfielder to feature against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. The 32-year-old - who will become the Hornets’ 11th official summer signing - has spent the past week training with the Golden Boys ahead of completing his loan deal, which can be made permanent at any point during the campaign. But the Italian is likely to have to wait until after this weekend to make his Hornets debut. “He (Diamanti) is training but I don’t think he will be involved on Saturday. We are still waiting to complete the transfer and are working very hard with the club in China to do that,” Flores said this morning. “He brings technical quality. He has a vision of the pitch and he is really strong from set-pieces and from free-kicks. It is very, very nice to have him. He also has experience which is important for us.” Flores added: "I love players with quality. We have a good group of players who can play different styles. We have players who can make the ball move quickly in the last third or players who can use their speed.
I have completely lost track of all these transfers and loans, and have no idea who will be on the pitch on Saturday or even who I would like to be on the pitch. This is now the moment to trust in Flores to do the best with the resources he has been given .He seems to have a good vision, and is clearly "in charge" . I suppose things will become a bit clearer after the end of August when the 25 man squad is announced. Rather fascinating--who will emerge as our key players? Which old favourites will reinforce their status and who will be cast aside? I do not recall a Watford team being so completely restructured between seasons. Going to a match now is as much about curiosity as loyalty.
Well it is a bit like when the pozzos took over and Zola came.. But at Everton on Saturday I must say In struggled to identify players and positions for much of the match.... !!
I seem to struggle at the start of most seasons - so my strategy now is to take another swig from the hip-flask and make sure I cheer and boo at the correct times!
Not a rumour - its official. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/artic...igns-for-watford-fc-from-chelsea-2619925.aspx
