Absolutely agree! And Pantilimon kept you in the game! Good result for both teams, can now hopefully move on to bigger and better

Having seen it now on MOTD I'm changing my mind on the pen. Stonewall.

But most people would probably agree a loss would have been cruel on us - you only had two shots on target.

Agree Blunham! If we continue to play like that we will be OK this season, and the same goes for you - was a passionate 110% display from your boys! Was a cracking game and a fair result.

On balance f play yes. But.. According to the rules of the game we should've had a penalty. No doubt about it. Stonewall penalty. No rules made any difference to how many goals Swansea scored. Also Williams should've been sent off for denying a goal. It was going in. I'm not even asking for luck we earned with our hard work yesterday. Just adhering to the rules!

Saying we had only two on target is rubbish. I can't see how a shot, which is going in, is not classed as a "shot on target". I saw at least 3 shots blocked by defenders (including the Williams one) which were on target

How was MVilla? Can't wait to see him, we haven't had many cultures midfield players in our recent past!

I hear Catts and Pat were better, good reactions. Noticed JOS did just enough to trouble Gomis on his header that Pants saved. Good save still! Romero looks great for them but that's not just v us.

Can't argue with that Marcus, though luck can have as much influence as the rules of the game at times, for both good as bad.

Oh, and I'd be asking for good luck everytime the lads walk on the pitch. I'd rather have a lucky manager than a good manager.

I thought it was a good game, bit of a throw back at times, but exciting all the same. Thought the crowd was fantastic and they lifted your team to fight for the game.

A point a piece is good result even if neither side see it as a fair one. Re penalty shouts, yours, Williams hand-ball, I've seen them given, then again I've seen them not given. Looks worse in super slow mo, but in real time it looked dodgy but for me it was ball to hand, what else am I going to say <ok>.

We had a couple of shouts ourselves. Cork was hammered on the edge of the box and the ref gave nothing. Watched again it he was fouled right on the line and a penalty should have been given. Our second shout was a stoner and the ref bottled it, again, imo. Monterro was pulled back when he skinned your defender and the action continued into the box, so, a stonewall penalty. But again, the ref bottled it.

From a one eyed Jacks point of view the ref bottled most of the big decisions all day yesterday. We're focusing on the penalties or lack of them, but in reality Lens was a very lucky boy to stay on and how the ref missed Rodwells' knee strike to Ayew's back is beyond me. Both stayed on the pitch and played superbly, with Lens getting an assist. The fact we dominated the game and created so many chances without scoring was disappointing but at least we made your keeper look good. He was superb and earned you your point as if he'd scored the goal himself. So we got plenty to whinge over too but that's pointless, games over now, next week Man U for us so we move on.

For you lads though, you must be chuffed with the fight your lads displayed all game. They showed a lot of character to come back from where they were a week ago and the fantastic crowd reminded them what its like to wear the shirt, they were brilliant. Because of the amazing crowd the players stood tall and played with heart and passiont. They wobbled a bit beginning of second half but then the goal came and they lifted again.

Glad your up and running now, it must be great for you lads to see that your team has a lot more in their lockers than you thought they did. They are a good team and far better than their start suggests. Now they can hold their heads up again and take the passion they showed yesterday into the next few games. A couple of wins behind them and I doubt the basement will ever see you again this season.

Good luck and ffs beat the Toons <ok>.

M'Vila was excellent. Getting better every game. Lens as well looks a next level player. Defoe was excellent as well! (Slated him first two but he looked like he'd had an arse kicking for his "I want to play up front". Comments!! Played in the preferred formation and scored.! Can't fault any of them. If we'd played like that the first two games we'd have won them both!
