Not I, just $1 in my Bet365 account to keep it active in the hope of catching a few of our matches this season using their live stream service. Screen capture from earlier:- Charlie Austin Sign For Before 3rd September Loan deals do count Manchester Utd 1/2 To Stay at QPR (Does not include returning on loan following a permanent deal elsewhere) 8/1
Manure are fairly desperate & no doubt Austin would score goals with so many creative players there & his fee would be loose change to them so stranger things have happened. They must have 1 or 2 decent fringe players that could throw in or loan for the season as part of any deal.
Strange one this! I think it is market making by the bookies and the Man Utd rumour could be a red herring. Am doing an 'insurance' bet with Bournemouth at 5-1 as I think they are lurking..
Charlie Austin to complete £15m Man Utd move despite Chelsea, Everton and Spurs interest MANCHESTER UNITED have emerged as favourites to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin. By DAVID WRIGHT 20:15, Sun, Aug 30, 2015 | UPDATED: 21:21, Sun, Aug 30, 2015 The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League since QPR's relegation to the Championship. Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in Austin, who impressed last term with 18 top-flight goals. However, suitors have baulked at QPR's £15million asking price considering he only has a year remaining on his Loftus Road contract. The striker has now seen his odds of a move tumble, with Old Trafford his most likely destination. Skybet have priced Austin at 4/6 to join United, who were 33/1 rank outsiders just this morning. The Red Devils are desperate to sign a striker to compete with Wayne Rooney before the window shuts on Tuesday, having just three goals in four league games this term. please log in to view this image Manchester United favourites to land Charlie Austin this summer Former Old Trafford defender Gary Neville has highlighted the importance of a new forward at United, with Javier Hernandez's departure looking likely. He said: "If (Javier) Hernandez leaves, they've got one striker in Wayne Rooney. They have to resolve the centre-forward (situation) in the next two days. "I'd be absolutely staggered if there wasn't a striker brought in. It has to happen." http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...td-Chelsea-Everton-Spurs-Transfer-News-Gossip
I have accounts with Betfair Ladbrokes and SkyBet. Do a lot of tennis trading on Betfair which is low risk and gives me steady income. I do football wagers on SkyBet. Never been refused, but never had a big win to alert the geekware that I might be trading. SkyBet now showing Bournemouth at 3-1 favourites. I am tempted to go in again at 7-2 for Charlie to stay but dont want to end up in The Sporting Chance. I don't normally bet on transfers as its all fuelled by rumours and scam accounts on Twitter and FB.. Just had a gut feeling on this one. If you want to put a bet on I can try through my account and take funds from your credit card (blimey that sounds dodgy!) Gonna have a little lay on Nadal against Boric later in the US Open (for the first set anyway)
Why would Charlie choose to go to Bournemouth. All they've done in all honesty is win a season playing in the Premier League before a swift return. Reckon Charlie will stay, at least to Jan anyway. Gut feeling.
His family live local and I think they'll stay up, they're a well-balanced side and Charlie would certainly score plenty in an attacking line-up like theirs. I think too many people write them off just because they're little old Bournemouth...
Fair comment is that. I just think he'd be better off at a more established club in the prem. I'd actually like to see cherries do well. it would give hope to others going up, in an otherwise very much closed shop of a Premier League.
