Big mak and sarr in for igor and diarra.

Looking at 'udders team, they really appear (key word) short of quality. We have to take the game to them from the word go. If we do, then I can see us winning comfortably by 2 goals.

I look forward to ranting at length about SCP after the match, but just now, I hope we can get an early goal and turn on the style.

Anybody listening to the match with Player? Mine will not work (despite checking Chrome settings as they advise).

Oh pope. Just saw it on sky go and it's a howler. Straight at him and he palms it up over him.

    0-2.

Interesting stat - we've scored all of our goals in the league this season in the second half. Some hope..

    1-2, sarr.

Sounds like we've lacked any sort of creativity. Had all summer to address our lack of s left winger. Paying for it. As is cousins.

    1-2 FT.

Interested to hear from those who made it. It sounded pretty dire.

Well that was crap, and then a crap too a crap on a crap. Which is what Luzons tactics were.

No plan B other than long ball! Which why take off Makeniok

Sounded awfull. I'll spare Pope as he's had a couple of great games, but overall, the worst is it sounded as if we were outplayed. Very very poor result. I just hope CP did a tunnel jump to keep Royston riled.

Piss off Charlton. Need Henderson back asap.

Any chance of getting into the play offs went out the window the second the transfer window shut and we hadn't got the 2/3 extra players of sufficient quality in needed. Talk about being over budget is bollocks as if he invested a bit extra and failed to go up I'm sure he could get that back and some selling Gudders, Bauer, cousins etc.

Bulot has apparently made a very impressive start at Reims.

Same problems as Saturday only this time we created even less. Huddersfield defended well enough but we made it too easy for them, getting about half way into their half before passing it from side to side, seldom breaking through the back line. Watt consistently went solo and lost the ball far more often than he did anything with it. He clearly feels he is the crucial factor in us being a potent attacking force (to be honest, he pretty much is) and always tries to do something spectacular when it's not necessary.

The first goal was a howler from Pope, rather undoing his good work in the second half against Rotherham. He fumbled another low effort later in the first half and was lucky the ball just evaded the lurking Scannell. He might perhaps have done better with the free kick for the second, though it was well-placed.

Sarr wasn't too bad, glancing in our goal from a free kick, and Bauer was solid again. MOTM goes to Kashi for constantly trying to keep us going. Cousins showed how much he is wasted on the left by making some dangerous runs through the middle, and Bergdich missed another opportunity to impress. McAleny was positive but could only muster a couple of weak shots wide (*cough* Simon Church *cough*) whilst Makienok did the same from a long punt forward before awkwardly firing over at the back post from a corner. Igor did nothing when he came on; it's getting to the stage where I'd rather see Ahearne-Grant than him.

The possession stats will flatter us but we got what we deserved from tonight. Championship teams are realising that they can safely let us have the ball as, providing they do the basics in defence, we haven't got the guile to create enough chances.

    Guy has much to ponder.

We've got no cutting edge, and ran out of ideas long before the end. WE've got no threat on the left, and defenders have found a way to keep JBG quiet, his partnership with Solly just doesn't work for me. Which left long range shots (none came anywhere near), playing through a packed defence (nope), or high balls into the box (didn't work when Big Mak was on, so wasn't going to work after he went off). PLenty of effort, but no attacking quality.

Utter ****e. Pope at fault for both goals. But that masks a vein of incompetence right through the team. Only Kashi and Cousins didn't have way sub-par games. Miller was eating 'Sarr on toast' all night. Smart enough not to go near Bauer. Shocking.

Well, that's our two easiest games of the season out of the way.

Now we have Blackburn, Palace and Cardiff, all away, within 8 days. Good thing we have plenty of options in each position.

It is not all bad news. Millwall won away and Sordell scored the winner for Colchester.

Your golden boy JBG not pulling his weight, then? Do you think his exploits with Iceland have taken a bit out of him? Not in physical exertion, but in adrenaline. Playing Rotherham and Huddersfield must be a bit of an anti-climax after beating the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.

    Corrected this for you, Super.

I must have been watching a different game, I thought Kashi was dire, only ever passed it sideways never went forward.

Taking off Mak was crazy, only player I thought that gave any sort of attacking threat today, especially seeing towards the end we were just playing hoof ball.

Bergditch or however you spell it is poor. I know it's early but he seems really poor, and at the end how far back he stayed when playing LB was a joke, Fox at least got forward.

In my opinion Bauer and Mak were the only players to come away from that game with any credit for us.

I'm a big goal keepers union member but Pope for the 1st goal was shocking, the 2nd goal went through the wall like East Germans in 1989, it just went straight through.
