I understand where you are coming from but I don't really think that is a comparable example. Were Man Utd fans singing from the rooftops about what a good manager they had? I wouldn't say they did - they reserved judgement on him and subsequently decided against him after a horror season. He was sacked after 10 months. The Brendan Rodgers example I put forward is completely night and day, which is essentially what I wanted an explanation of. Not trying to get at anyone or make an example of Liverpool fans, just trying to make sense of the psychology behind switching opinion to such an extent.
See my comment about there being more than one Liverpool fan. The ones singing his praises (after getting second, not from his appointment) and now condemning him are few and far between. Most remained reserved in judgement despite the second place finish because we clearly still had problems in the team bar scoring goals.
None of us were "singing from the rooftops" when Rodgers was appointed as our manager, we said we'd give him a chance. Hes well had his chance unlike Moyes.
I guess it's similar to di Maria, world class when he joined and hailed by united fans, only for us to all be told by then that he's **** 10 months later....
I had faith in Rodgers and thought he was an excellent attacking coach. The fact that he has regressed so far in such a short space of time in that respect, combined with his continuing defensive inability is very concerning.

We'll only win once at anfield and Stoke won't win a game all season! Should be a fun season to watch
Nah, you've posted a thread on the same article on your own board and "hope it finishes like this" #fail
You may as well have posted "my dad is bigger than yours", it would have had just as much of a impact A wum is suppose to be subtle but still get a reaction
Question; did you seriously sit there inputting results to get this table? Or did you just spend ages editing it as a image? Either way, time well spent I'm sure
You call that a bite? I got 2 pages of Mancs and #bitters in outrage last night by posting 2 words. I got banned from the Arsenal board for posting a single smiley face. I got @Treble to go on a complete #meltdown against me by liking one of his posts. please log in to view this image
Sorry to inform you that this can only be considered as a WUM in a City like Norwich, where centuries of in-breeding have limited the locals cognitive capability, thus resulting in rather . Fair effort for a mutant though In your defence, your comments are 'Normal for Norfolk'...... "Normal for Norfolk" is a descriptive phrase used to describe an individual or action which is seen as so ridiculous it could only have been born as a result of the inbreeding supposedly commonly found in Norfolk. Not a bad attempt, then.....for a mutant
