Few bookmakers have odds up on this (Victor Chandler and Paddy Power are 2 I know). Jeff Stelling is quite a good price at 5/2 and I think he is an absolute shoe-in to take over and he was doing the Carling Cup game on Wednesday night. He's the second favourite behind Ben Shepherd who I don't think has a chance in hell!
I'll be amazed if it isn't Jeff Steling, ben Shepard shouldn't be anywhere near Sky's football coverage imo, there were some rumblings about Gaby Logan taking over, i think that was tongue in cheek though.
Looks like Stelling has been earmarked for the role..........but surely James Richardson would be the choice. Failing that, Ron Burgundy. The model pro when it comes to the Anchorman position.
