It's pretty widespread in umlicensed premises, they'll tell you there are dirty glasses, etc to wash after you've left - plus it goes some way to clawing back the profit they're not making on charging outlandish prices for crap wine Better to take your own decent bottle and they slap on £5 than pay extortionate prices for filth! Edit-Braveheart had far less to type than me, that's why I'm late replying - and duplicated his words...with waffle
Off to a business lunch very shortly at 'The Black Boys' in Aylsham followed by an all afternoon drinking session in the City, it's a hard life but someone's gotta do it !

First festive gathering tonight at ours! Buzzing. Yesterday night and today cooking and cleaning. Then mates, buffet, nibbles, drink, cocktails, drinking games. It's all gonna go off!
Is it really meant to play down the threat of terrorism, or satirise the ridiculous gun laws in the USA? I read it as the latter.
We were on the lash from 12:45 until late but I survived (just), now having Hair of the Dog P.S. Along our route we popped into 'The Ten Bells' for a couple of Gins, never new it was a Gay bar or so it seemed ?
Fracking under national parks backed by MPs http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-35107203 FFS I despair at this country sometimes.
So, if you want to visit - and enjoy the wildlife and serenity of the Broads, the Peak district, Dartmoor, etc do it pretty damn soon - or the chance will be gone Sometimes (not often, mind) I'm quite pleased that I'm the wrong side of 60 - only just, mind, because if I was 20 and growing up today, what the **** would my future be like!?
