Yeah a few thousand going over;not a bad place to spend a weekend!I met McGregor a few years ago. He's all mouth on the tv but actually a nice bloke.Went to Vegas a few years ago but wasnt mad about it tbh-Not really into poker etc so didn't spend to much time in the casinos. My mate won two grand on the two cent slot machines the lucky bugger. Cheers Hully ill download that
I hope he does it but i don't think he will. Aldo is and has been for some time one of the pound or pound best in the world. I see the odds have drastically changed today, they're now both 10/11 to win, whereas McGregor has somehow been odds on favourite for quite a while before today. I've got £20 on Aldo to win by KO at 11/2. Not got BT Sports so i'll do my usual and download it tomorrow.
Hoping this game ends in a draw, have a couple of accas with 4 draws in, this being the last. Also thinking that it could be a good night for favs at Wolvers tonight. Sure Kirby and Murphy will have a few winners between them.
McGregor will take a good beating tonight IMO, his striking is far to sloppy and weak to affect a guy like Jose Aldo, and if it ends up on the ground, Aldo is a far more accomplished, being a black belt in Brazilian Jujitsu, and having been coached by the very best. Where as McGregor has an average ground game, only being a brown belt, which isn't going to cut it at this level. McGregor just about got out jail against an underprepared Chad Mendes, but he won't be so lucky tonight against a far more skilled opponent
I agree with all the above. Until today you could get 3/1 on an Aldo win, crazy that McGregor has talked himself into favouritism
Yeah somehow he has. It makes no sense to go against a guy who's been dominant for a decade, and is regarded as the pound for pound best though
Hang on, haven't we been here before not so long ago....dominant champion, unbeaten for donkeys expected to outclass the mouthy upstart...
I think with his gift of the gab and the fact that they've had a couple of meetings postponed, which has meant McGregor has been active and Aldo hasn't have all combined to kid punters into a false market. 7s was available a few weeks ago for Aldo to win by ko, missed that but am well happy with my 11/2, it's into 11/4 now on PP
Difference is here the dominant champion isn't expected to outclass the mouthy upstart according to the odds. Tyson Fury was a big outsider against Klitchko
England v Wales! From an Irish perspective I'm happy with our group.Belgium are bottlers and the players don't get on with the manager, could have had a tougher opponent.I cant see us beating Italy so need to take down the show pony Zlatan and beat zee Swedes.
Peace and Co We tried to tell you all. The Triumph is a disgrace. If you want to talk about which races belong at the Festival you should start and end the conversation with that one.
They need to give that man Hendo a chance at winning one race. But you're right it does tend to be poor enough 80% of the time.
Bit of fun on the boxing tonight: Luke Campbell by KO Ismael Barroso any method Eubank Jr by KO Joshua Rds 4-6 Jose Aldo by KO
On the flip side though you could say Hargam did the Triumph form no harm. The run of Peace and Co was so bad considering how much he pulled, that I think it would be very naive to draw any conclusions about him from it
