http://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/sport/long-lay-off-expected-for-striker-48281/ Well he could be back this season but not until the later stages. I'm not going to go into the pros and cons of McDonald that has been debated in length on other threads but with it happening now at least JE can go into January knowing the length of the injury to look for replacements. At the moment we have Norris coming back from injury, Donnelly, Williamson on loan at Cambridge that JE has discussed recently and Samuel who's loan is due to expire soon I believe. So what are peoples thoughts on JE's next move, Cody has been out a lot already this season and not turning up trees so far. Do we try to extend Samuel, bring back Williamson or look into the market to see what we can get?
I like that clever piece of wording...Cody has been out a lot already this season and not turning up trees so far. So really it's as we were
thought you would be happy brb Extend Samuel loan to end of season and bring bring williamson as he has started scoring.
Naturally i never wish injury on any player, but fate sometimes opens new doors, i still remember Gazza getting his first big break and moment in goal due to injury and look at him now. Problem is i think on this occasion if Dack leaves in Jan he will leave a massive great big hole behind.
brb - Yep I was tempted to say that but at least when Cody was in the squad he was an option to come on as sub but now JE has to plan for another option.
Can't let Dack go until the end of the season.....end of. Keep Samuel and leave Williamson where he is until he is really hungry. Just my view of course......
Hooray... ding dong the overrated prima donna is injured!! Ok ok, I wish no harm on the lad but i think this could be a blessing in disguise. We have all seen that Cody has not hit the same form as he finished last season on and is, rightly so, no longer the first name on the team sheet. So rather now rather than trying to find the best partner for him up front we could possible try and get the best out of our other strikers, Norris, Donnelly may not be the finished articles but have bags of potential
