There has been a dreadful mistake on here

Hi all,
I hope that you are ready for this, I have tried and failed to contact both Sgt and 72_Stokie on here and by PM, to no avail.

So here we go, this is NOT a joke, but I have been in touch with Steve/Pottermouth over the last couple of days ago, here is the initial email that I received:

Please excuse the language mate but, I've had a rough week, not feeling too good, but NOT DEAD.
Came on here today, too find that some Barsteward has, according to a
good friend of mine. That, my laptop or my login details have been "Thraped"

HOW the hell or what the hell do I do mate?

One or two things MIGHT actually convince the guys on here that, in fact I am legit.
The ONLY thing I can think to do right now is let you into something that ONLY 72
and MYSELF would or could know because we exchanged e mails BEFORE my OLD
P.C. crashed. Remember I told you as much Nick?

I HOPE you can remember some time ago.. the OLD 606 board.
Well, there was a poster who called himself "KIMBO" and 72 Stokie and I were I THINK
the only one's who knew about this.
IF you can contact 72 mate via his inbox here on not606 he will confirm this Nick.

As I told you a few weeks back, I lost MANY e mail addresses and 72s was one of those.

I DO remember his name is Kim Bowden hence the Kimbo Nick!
I am sure that, if you contact him BEFORE i do anything he will confirm this.
I don't remember his address Nick, sorry but like I've said zillions of times, my
memory isn't the best these day's.

We mailed each other a few times and he is the only one, apart from your good self who has
my PRIVATE address.

Most of the GARBAGE IN those theads is total bull apart from my wife's name and I do have TWO girls Nick.
But, you already knew that.

IF I ever find out who's responsible for this... I'll bloody ring their neck.

ONE BIG mistake I did make Nick, this site is on my Favourite's toolbar and becasue of my illness I don't log out!
Kept forgetting my log in details. But, I do have a password too turn on my laptop.

Nick, what would YOU do mate? I supposed to be DEAD For christ's sake.

I was thinking of mailing 72 via his inbox on here but, after what's happened to me Nick, is it safe?
And second, If you call him Kim Bowden and tell him Steve or Pott's told you. That should do it.

And Nick,
It was fine, you mentioning T.C. the bowls etc I would have done the same, no worries.
I'm not angry with you Nick, just glad to be alive, well just about.
And whoever did this, will wish they were DEAD if I find out

Well, I really hope 72/Kim get's in touch Nick and he won't mind me mentioning Kimbo I'm sure of it.

To be honest I`m getting totally disillusioned with life in general.You can`t believe what you read anywhere. There`s so many bad b------s about (my son had the lead ripped off his roof this week).I hope this latest `twist` is right and that Potts is alive and kicking and Potts if you are there it must make you feel good to have so many nice tributes paid,all genuinely felt.

im still a bit susupicous though. that whole red email thing sounds like it was written by some bloke in nigeria.

Glad to hear he is not dead. How could someone be so sick to hack in to a person's account and say they are dead.

 

What a sick bastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Why would anyone do that?, what can they possibly gain from it?. I cant believe whats happening in the world just lately. The older you get the more you realise how many evil people are out there!!!!. I hope whoever did this rots in hell!!!.

Nick, I really hope that this is true and Potts is definitely still with us!!!

I am (probably like yourself) of the old school. I try to take people on face value and always prefer to go down to the pub and talk to folks face to face over a beer as opposed to just conversing in 'cyberspace'. (Sites like facebook really p*ss me off, mundane and trivial in the extreme and I have never tweeted in my life...wouldn't know where to start!)

If this has been a wind up then I can tell you there will be many relieved but shocked people on this site (myself and tenterdenkentpotter to name just two!!!).

Let's hope that this has been a totally sick joke and we can all get back to debating all things SCFC as the new season approaches.

Do you reckon Plastico has just been guessing passwords for Potts since 2008, and has finally lucked out? Seems like the sord of thing a saddo like him would do.

 

I don't know what to think! I'm overjoyed that Steve/our potts is safe and well but frustrated that some fool would do such a thing.

I've been a victim of online shenanigans but NOTHING like that. I really really hope that Potts is okay mate.

Just imagine the situation, there I was, in a pub having a pint, when I received THAT email!!!!!
So I shouted He's Alive, of course the whole pub went as silent as a mouse!!!

Some shaking of the heads and everybody ignoring me, no difference there then.

Well all I can say guys and Jub, I'm convinced it's for real, I have Steve's mobile number and I have spoken with him, mentioned some things from back in the old 606 days, that only the real Potts would know, so there we are then.

In keeping with the past occurrence with Jub, we hereby rename Steve:
