Liverpool lose more points from winning positions than any other Premier League side while Tottenham are the comeback kings http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Tottenham-comeback-kings-does-team-rank.html
Its because Klopp's famed Gangbang Football has them knackered by the middle of the second half. If there wasn't such a widespread anti Liverpool conspiracy going on in football and the media then games would rightfully be halted once Liverpool had taken the lead.
This and this.^ They're playing a system that requires very fit players who will commit to the tactics 100% and keep it up for the whole game. They don't have the right players for it and it costs them badly in some games. This is equally true of Spurs when things aren't working completely, we're missing key players or play loads of games back-to-back. The table shows that we've got the most points gained from losing positions, but we've also dropped lots from winning ones. Pochettino's a season or so ahead of Klopp, but both are still getting their squads right for their preferred way of playing.
On talkshite Danny 'the brain' Murphy blamed yesterday's capitulation on having to play Thursday and then Sunday. It hadnt occured to him that United and Tottenham had had to do the same. He then went on to say "I'm not just talking about playing so soon after Thursday but also before Thursday" There was a deafly awkward silence as everyone else realised Liverpool hadnt played any football for a week, yet United and Spurs had played the weekend before Fckin desperate defending of kloppy flop.
I actually quite like Murphy's punditry on MOTD, he's not the most animated but I think he talks sense. His analysis of Saints v Liverpool last night was shocking. I got the feeling that he was trying to pretend the second half never happened.
You hear the bias all the time, whenever either United or 'Pool play. Everything is analysed from their point of view. So, for example, if the opposition is dreadful in the first half, United/'Pool are showing their "class" or "have too much in their locker," but then when, in the second half, the opposition finally get themselves sorted out and go on to slaughter United/'Pool, the punditry switches to "awful defending from United/'Pool" or "yeah, well, they've got injuries" or "they've played too many games." Rarely, if ever, is any creditable cricism levelled at either the United squad or its lame management and the fact that these teams are no longer automatic shoe-ins for top 4, or is any real credit given to the strength and dominance of the opposition. I used to get annoyed by the bias, but now I merely find it laughable.
You also missed out ''Leicester Spurs and Arsenal are only where they are by chance'' rather than by quality or that United Chelse are average at best ! It would be great if top 4 was different and I think that is the reason behind the so called European Super League by invite only
