Oops! Did I misunderstand you? Although I couldn't (and still can't ) recall offhand what you were referring to, I thought you meant the opposite, hence my reply!
Never mind. It seems we agree the ethics of sporting behaviour.

Lewis and Nico was a racing incident for me, and it's really good to see Nico doing a Hamilton to Lewis :)

But what really annoyed me was that they said the incident was going to be investigated after the race, can't we have any racing without the stewards having to have their word on it too.

This graphic did make me laugh, as I'm really surprised that Mercedes haven't come out on Lewis's side.

Pretty much every incident or contact is looked at these days. The stewarding does seem a lot better now as most things come to nothing, so at keat they try and encourage racing.

Correct decision today. Two drivers knowing that they needed to be in front by the end of the lap otherwise iit is ganme over. As it was, game over for both of them!

Moving onto Vettel, I think he is now paranoid that anything that looks like a Red Bull is going to have him off! His radio whinges are getting funnier by the race.

Oh, just one picture missed off the montage, no Spa 14?

Unfortunately some Hamilton fans are really badly deluded. Luckily none of those fans are members of our forum.

Yes, ASC. I'm pleased others are noticing this now.

Completely agree. Whenever there's an incident involving Vettel, he sounds like a spoilt brat. I've heard his latest outburst; I was laughing too!

Ricciardo should be seeking a meeting with Lauda after all that.

We didn't get to hear what Lewis or Rosberg said though, did we, it's always Vettels that they put out on air, very selective. Plus he had a fair point, Ricciardo went in far too fast and couldn't make it around the next bend, just like he did when he took out Rosberg in Hungary

It was **** driving from Ricciardo but I still can't make sense of Vettel's ping pong comment.

They often put Lewis on the radio, then you complain he's moaning!

I imagine HAM/ROS radio's would have been even more bleeped out than Vettel's from Russia, unless they were so mad they said nothing at all.

Hamilton moans at his team, Vettels moans about drivers, he never did before the 2 incidents with Alonso around Monza's Curva Grande. He didn't moan, and Alonso was allowed to crowd him off, Alonso moaned and Vettel got punished. He learned to moan into the radio

Well, to my ears, only three of the current drivers sound 'spoilt'. And since Alonso has matured and mellowed, I think I should cut this down to just two: Verstappen and Vettel. Neither of the Mercedes drivers come across as spoilt to me; but of course, things like this are very subjective.

I imagine it must be hard at the mome
    Of course.

Vettel never moans, RBR are a team of impecable sportsmanship etc etc

Hamilton always does, is the spoilt brat.

As much as you complain about the 'Hamelots', you are exactly the same for Vettel. Do you not see that? The irony is massive that you can't see how blinkered you are to one driver/team yet happy to point it out to others if you think they are blinkered to another.

It must be hard at the moment with Vettel/RBR at odds with each other on the track. Who do you support?

I just hope this isn't the slow decline that occurs in racing careers. I'm all to familiar with mistakes and misjudgements that occur then. Lewis has race pace, he needs to revise his race craft sooner rather than later.

His racecraft is fine, its his starts he needs to get a grip on. Yet again the incident could have been avoided (potentially) if he had a decent stat so Rosberg would not have had the chance to get such a good run at him for turn 1 which would have meant the collision in yurn 4 may never have happened as Hamilton would not have looked to take the place back.

Has there been a change to how drivers can launch their cars off the start this year? Have any aids/launch control devices been removed which were previously there? Just seems bizarre how he has yet to get a single start right this year which is what has put him in trouble in virtually every race.

The clutch system has changed now hasn't it? From vague memory, there used to be two clutch paddles, they held one all the way in and dropped the other, and managed their getaway on the accelerator. It's a single clutch paddle now, so they have to feed it in more carefully?

Hopefully that's enough to prompt a better explanation from someone else!

I think Vettel's get plucked out because they're so bloody fantastic. No other driver on the grid can weave such a tapestry of expletives in the heat of the moment quite like Vettel. It's a gift.

Yep... clutch change. Don't ask me to explain all the ins and outs as I don't have a chuffin' clue. Cosi might be your man for that.

Hamilton's approach to racing is fairly consistent. He's more than happy to bully on a pass which sometimes leaves his opponent to make a decision on how it all pans out. Rosberg was having none of that today though.
