Jonathan Pearce (Robot Wars)would be more of a likely candidate for that, maybe get one of his mates to modify sir Killalot with a set of wings

Totally agree with OTex on everything especially the Darke/McManaman team. I was going to say the same in my post but I thought I had already gone on a bit.

Crooksy was on BBC4 tonight hosting a 1982 TOTP with Peter 'Poptastic' Powell.
Featured acts : Altered Images, Julio Iglesisas, Killing Joke, Chas 'n' Dave and Bucks Fizz.
He did a far better job on there than he ever does for the football.

Didn't know that. Has he been convicted of that?

Sinstadt had a case against him, but I think that was dropped.

Defenestrated in Oct 87 at Weiss Herz Lane for ' details of his private life'.
Cautioned 3 times for his kerb crawling by the Old Bill.

I've been diagnosed with a certain type of amnesia where you deny the existence of certain 80s bands. There is no cure.

I had that in a very acute form.

I remember I went to the docs for some tests to find out just how bad it was. Got told it was one of the most severe results they seen and that I was in fact Level 42.

They all irritate me, I usually turn the sound off, sometimes I leave Spanish commentary on, I do not understand much but it can be quite entertaining when teams score.

If Alan Green is commentating on our next match expect him to do the whole thing without mentioning us once.

    Used to love David Coleman.
Dislike anybody that says when a great goal is scored the boring old !!!
If that had been a Brazilian that scored that goal we'd be talking about it for weeks

The older guys were the best...Coleman (sadly no longer with us) and Barry (JUST LOOK AT HIS FACE) Davies were good value..The modern ones are not as good and the need to shout out a players name does my head in...

Bill Maclaren on the 5 Nations was quality.
Also some of the Radio 4 Test match commentators.
    Blowers is still kicking around.
