Would be worth a signing as he provides the weakest opposition

I could sort of understand Arafat, because he was quick, but now you're just being silly. The short one is never going to dominate any opposition CB.

Hi FLT - was offline yesterday - hence the delay in responding - you will see from my posts this Summer that I believe the way we do our transfer business is brilliant. I have never advocated 'splashing the cash' - I also think the club has done a fantastic job with signing the key members of the team to new contracts. I fully comprehend the issues facing the club and it cannot be easy for the management to be facing the annual disruptions they face. My comment was, in summation; its been slow and to date, I have found it a tad tedious, we appear not, to date, to have strengthened the team from last season and I am looking forward to the season. Oh - and I am invariably wrong! :emoticon-0100-smile

    Enjoy today mate!!

Excellent response to my post BTW!

Great isn't it. Crown & Lion in Barsha Heights for the game - full of expats - English pub food and delightful waitresses who serve you drinks while watching the game - the only downside it's GBP 8.50 a pint - going to be an expensive evening (6.00pm kick off here). Have a great day! :emoticon-0100-smile

I'm an ex everything these days except an ex drinker despite instructions from the Doctors and frowns from you know who.

I prefer the label 'ex drinker'. People tend to make assumptions about 'non-drinkers'.

I'm pretty comfortable with reformed piss-head. Though ex-drunk is more succinct, and sounds a bit like expert.
