Its all about awareness. Defenders should always be thinking worse case scenario. 'What if my keeper spills this shot?' 'What if my CB misses this header' etc. First thought should be, if Lallana loses this ball am I in a position where I can still defend properly, answer was no.

Yes lallana lost the ball but that doesn't excuse Moreno for being 20 yards too far forward. He's not a LW, he's a LB.

Totally Morenos fault, i don't think i have ever seen a breakaway goal where both FBs on both sides go up. It's normally the side the ball is moving towards you see the FB bomb forward

Obviously more Lalas fault for dicking around and losing it

But what if... he's following exactly what klopp Wanted??

That's the point. We've been told over and over this lot have been drilled constantly in thier transitions.

What if that is exactly where he was supposed to be?

What if in 2 weeks time an identical scenario sees clyne do the same and provide an assist.... will he be too far Forward?

The point is both full backs didn't go.... clyne was 5 yards ahead of cbs max cos ball was going to his side.

But Clyne wasn't supporting the attack though - he was too deep lol.

By turning towards the right, Lallana was a) running into the tackler and b) had little options down the right.

Even with Moreno in a higher position, Henderson should have been covering and Klaven was caught in two minds whether to go towards Walcott or follow Ramsey who managed to find space in the centre of defence where Lovren was caught doing nothing.

It is a classic klopp goal... scored against klopp.

We were caught in transition without shape due to a guy who thought the game was won showboating in his own half...

Typically we look for guys facing their own goal, or the ball is in the air and has to be controlled or are turning like this.

We got done by klopp's own game plan cos Lallana was acting the fool.... how many times do we say we ripped a side apart like city or cheslea when in fact one guy makes an error in the transition phase and the shape is not there??

lesson for lallana.. do that again and you deserve a kicking.

Midfielders often lose the ball - it's one of the reasons we have defenders.

it'd be fairly dull if each half one team had 100% possession.

Q: Why is Moreno never able to get into his own driveway?
A: Someone painted an end zone on it.

Moreno saw his 738th opportunity in the match to become a striker and he was scared of missing the chance.

If you look on the other side, Clyne is on his way up fields too but he takes a little longer to ensure there is no danger first. Shocking behaviour!

I was initially angry at moreno for the first goal having watched the game like twice and enough highlight shows, the issue was not moreno.

Moreno actually intercepted the ball from arsenal and passed it into coutinho who fed Lallana. This happened in a matter of seconds as we were already on the counter attack mode. Moreno had just begun his run but then Lallana went for an unnecessary cruyff turn. He lost the ball and in no time left side was exposed.

Ramsey third man run pulled klavan away but both moreno and klavan managed to get back but Walcot scored. Lallana was the main culprit.

Moreno is brainless for sure but sometimes it is easy to criticize him. When most of arsenal dangerous chances came from attacking Clyne.

    Well said.

Speaking of scapegoats - watch Lovren for that goal - Klaven is in two minds as he is drawn to Ramsey or to Walcott.

Because there's a vacant space to his right (Erm where the **** is Lovren), Klaven picks the wrong choice.

Simple positioning errors like this are just as bad as 'Moreno's' because they have a knock on effect on those around them.

This is why I said replacing Moreno solves one problem but not all. Problems will remain until we get a proper RCB (hopefully Matip can do this but I'm not sure) and a quality CM alongside Can.

In addition, Moreno's positioning is so exaggerated by so called experts like Neville and Carra, that fans watching only see this one issue. Lazy punditry.
