Town have Chesterfield visiting today. We won't forget their last visit to the Meadow for a long time.

Town have AJLS available again today. Dom Smith has gone out on loan, it will get him game time, but many would've preferred him to have stayed and fought for game time here.

Chesterfield have Ched Evans up front and he's scored four goals so far, so our midfield and defense will need to make every effort to keep him quiet.

Hopefully we get to see a great match and town get to score a few league goals and get the win.

    Come on Salop, Floreat Salopia.

Really important for the team to get that first win as improved home form must be the key to consolidating in League 1 this season. Some very encouraging signs of the team gelling with some good passing movement and the three loanees (especially Choulay) looking as if they could be useful acquisitions. Lets not get carried away - Chesterfield were the better team overall - but a combination of Jayson's shot-stopping ability and some last ditch defending kept us in it until the captain popped up with the winner - he looks to be a strong character and a good leader. Feeling a lot happier after this performance.

And, strangely, they probably didn't play as well as Tuesday footballing wise.

I agree KDS that the result often does not fully reflect the performance but I just have a general feeling of optimism that we have that bit more League 1 experienced players this year and Choulay could be a real gem for us when he gets fully match fit.
