    great goals.

its "only burnley", but we've moved the ball well here. clattenberg is a crap ref though, not very happy with his performance.

Looking more like 2014/15 Chelsea now.
    Good signs.
Hazard seems back to his previous best.
    Willian too.
And I am so surprised at Victor Moses, forgot we even had him at this club and never really rated him , but he gives us all sorts of options when he come on. Am really impressed with him

    Always liked & Rated Moses.
Eden is my fantasy cap for a reason.

    Kante makes entire team better.
another day Matic could have grabbed 2 Assist and a Goal.
Fab perf is a kick up Matic back.

Still need to fix our back 4. Not entirely convinced.

It was great to see the boys so totally in control. I thought by half time we should have been at leat 4 up. But-hey that's football for you!

We haven't met any of the fancied brigade yet, but I'm beginning to feel we are going to be hard to beat by any of them.

Signor Conte is about to become the new Special One!

Still think we need a new CB. But I am very happy with what I am seeing so far.
Hazard and Willian look confident and full of pace and trickery.
Costa seems hungry (as long as he curbs his psychopathic tendencies)
And Kante has really made the difference in our midfield.......

A new CB and we are the finished article imo.

Agree with comment on CB providing it's not a desperation buy re: Dutch defender whose been out for a year with knee injury - at least get us someone who is match-fit at least.

Yep it's amazing what happens when you get the right pre-season preparation not like last season when our top striker turned up 2 stone over - been pleased with what I've seen so far.

....better than the 2014/15 home result against Burnley where we drew 1-1 under Mourinho. :1980_boogie_down:

I thoroughly enjoyed the game yesterday. To be honest, I expected a draw thinking that Burnley would get a goal against the run of play with us just managing to break down their close knit 2 rows of 4 formation. Conte had us set up just right with Hazard wide left and Willian wide right stretching the Burnley defence out of position allowing opportunities for a goal fest.

Were you watching Jurgen Klopp? That's how you beat Burnley with 80% possession. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Yes, Burnley like that NE teams are always pain in the backside for Chelsea.
Good to get them out. Great fecking goal from Hazard <ok>

Now need to be sensible in the transfer window with Defensive cover.
BTW - Hector has been sent off twice in two games in his Bundesliga loan appearance.

Have watched Moses all his career, got cpfc fans in the family. For he's a great talent who really does deserve his chance.Remembering him terrorising us when he played for Wigan.A great signing buy RDM.

Was surprised at how comfortable this was. I guess the early goal helped and Hazard looks back to his best from two seasons ago. Looks like we've got a couple of defenders lined up too so that should make us hard to beat against the top sides and just wait for that bit of magic from Hazard....

Good solid win. Until we play some of the established top sides I will reserve some judgement but 4 wins from 4 is a lovely start to the season.

Moses looks a very good option off the bench and is very positive and direct. Pretty much what Pedro isn't at the moment!

First 11 looks good plus some decent forward thinking subs. Defensive cover worries me. We need another option or 2 and wonder if we have erred letting so many out on loan until we have finished our business?

Apparently we are in advanced talks to Fiorentina to sign someone called Marco Alonso.
    A Left Back.
Reports state we have made a bid of £25m which has been accepted and we are now hashing out the small print with the club and terms with the player

Yeah seen that, I think he's been at a couple of English clubs before as well. Not sure whether that's a good thing or not! (given I don't remember him at all!)

Wonder if he'll actually get a game or be the new Luis/Rahman ?!?!

looks like Alonso used to play for Bolton back in the day.

Would prefer Ake in there or Kenedy as wingback tbh.

Sky reporting Alonso deal very close.

Alonso, Cahill, Terry, Zouma (when fit), Ivan, Dave. Will that be enough experienced defenders for the season? Plus Aina and one or 2 other youth players.
