Who would you say is your favourite stand up comedian and what is the best DVD/show showing their work.

Jim Jefferies, Denis Leary, Jimmy Carr and Dave Chapelle are my favourites.

Chapelle's For What It's Worth DVD is by far my favourite.

I watched Sean Lock's Lockipedia last night and it was brilliant. Even my wife was pissing herself and she doesn't usually like stand-ups.

Have to say I bought a Sean Lock DVD and didn't find it funny at all. I think he's great on 8 out of 10 cats but thought his stand up was poor. Has he got a new one out?

Jim Jeffries the best about at the minute then Kevin Bridges. You need a funny accent to do proper stand up.

    Dara O'Breeeen and Kevin Bridges

Incidentally, Mr. Bridges was at the Hibs v Celtic game the other week, and got the train back in a state of some inebriation. <ok>

Not a big fan of stand up TBH.

Seen a few just recycle the same jokes from Mock The Week, 8 out of 10 Cats etc too many times.

In fact I've seen Jimmy Carr crack the same joke about coloured trousers 3 times in a week!!
