    The reason you were have city status is due to "It was granted city status in 1992, the 40th anniversary of the Queen Elizabeth II's accession" no other reason.

    Ironically Gateshead are applying for City ship the same way.


    If your gonna remove Newcastle, atleast read what I wrote.

    I did? City of London and City of Westminster. Both in the table. So someone had to give, and Leicester are building a pretty good team...!

    I actually wasn't WUMming I was making a statement, twice. Also Newcastle Cathedral was pre 1888 not post.

    It's not their fault lads, their club is like a 10p mix up of Monty Python, The Keystone Cops & The Goon Show run by the Chuckle Brothers.

    I live in & work in a mixed area, 60/40 in the Mags favour & have a lot of Mag mates.

    I no longer get any pleasure ripping the piss out of them.

    In fact I now feel only pity.

    Going back to the original post; I'm pretty sure Manure are based in the city of Salford so Man City would be Manchester's team and Manure Salford's. Does this push the barcodes further down the pecking order?

    It did only read city originally, I am on my phone as I'm posting. I've been nothing but pleasant yet the 80% Sunderland posters resort to derogatory comments, such a pleasant place.

    Sunderland has one of the oldest churches in the world (674 AD) and we could get a cathederal built.

    Being a city has **** all to do with having a cathedral. It is to do with having a City Charter from the monarch.
