For a long time the Snake pit has been an initiator of much of our noise. But they are also seemingly quite a volatile lot and not slow to criticise, maybe the captain should go and have a word before the next game. If Russ and maybe one of the current favourites, Pinto for example, went and spoke to them for 2-3 minutes and just said "we know it hasn't been the best, but we really appreciate your support, any chance you can give us an unwavering half of noisy support to lift the lads, we'll be doing our best but it's always a lift and we'll do our best to give you a really good performance." So maybe they should be lifting the crowd with there play anyway but it would be good to try reconnecting with the fans and the fans need to be doing their bit to help them through a tough patch. Supporters should support I suppose how ever bad it gets? I realise I say all this not having had to sit through the utter bilge, but the fans really could help. Bah!
How do you know you should be watching the big mobile in the corner or failing that the rubbish on the pitch! Bah!

A good way to get the crowd onside would be to attack from the start at home and defend like their lives were at stake . I enjoy watching a centre back sticking his head on the end of every cross into the box almost as much as seeing us score. I'm happy with the win on Saturday and follow it up with another tomorrow and the confidence and volume will be restored. Not much to clap about against Wednesdays Ipswich and Brum .
Just seen that Josh Murphy goal again. Wow! If that was Ronaldo, people would spread that all over social media. So calm, so much skill and technique. A joy to watch.
I was taking to another fan at lunchtime and he was saying that Josh can sometimes be lazy in tracking back - same as Redmond!!
I've seen him do that exact same thing a couple of times before, agree it's great to see and a special skill.
Him and his brother have a superb eye for goal and seem capable of putting it in from anywhere. I think there's a good chance we will see one or both converting to being more of a striker.
*Sigh* So fans will hound him out and he'll go one to be a Prem Regular who impressed every game and who will get called up for England!..... Never get tired of seeing that happen.
Sorry FML, that's not quite what I meant, but I hope the coaching staff can impress upon him the need to defend as well.
