Who is the next nailbiter against, Preston, Burton, Blackburn ? I don't think I could handle the excitement
Well, at least we may be involved in some nail biters, it just doesn't look as though your lot will if getting humped 3-0 at home against a team you beat 3-0 at home about 3 months ago is anything to go by.
For a man who likes to live in a bubble of history from 100 years ago, you are slipping in your history. Both Preston and Blackburn have had very proud periods of history. You would love it down here in the championship fredor. It's full of clubs who can look at last century and claim to be successful clubs (us included). Our next nailbiter is against QPR. Kind of wish we were playing at Three Points Lane though so that we could win there for the fourth year in a row. Still, I imagine Spurs are happy we're down so that we cannot take 6 points off them again. They might even finish above Arsenal this year. Sort of like your lot in reverse - with you missing the points that would help keep you up.
it's Lord Haw Haw, seems like he wasn't hanged, he's still living with the other crims in Oz desparation talking here, anything to deflect the grave situation they find themselves in
Would rather be in the Championship winning games and actually looking forward to a relatively successful season than scrapping against relegation for yet another season. Sunderland are the PL's perennial bottom feeders that offer nothing and hit their annual purple patch around April time. They'll probably survive and their fans can look forward to yet another relegation battle next season along with their cup final against us. It's the game all of their fans look forward to, primarily because it's against us, the bigger and far more illustrious neighbour.
Since the mackems can't win in august or September, may I suggest someone fixes the fixture list for when we play them next.
They would just go to their, often used, Plan B and, in panic mode, sack their manager just before playing us
I've found out this season that the secret is to try and score more goals than the opposition. Pretty sure our team hasn't even been attempting that for a few years and I hope for your sake your team realizes this before it's too late...
Not quite all. It should have said.... You are only winning games by scoring twice as many in one match as we have scored all season!
True. I'd rather get buttfucked by Romelu Lukaku every monday night than watch my team win 6-0 away in championship.
Any team that doubles the penalty count of the opposition is not in control of the situation , I thought at an easier level this would improve but for once I was wrong
There wasnt any penalties. There WAS also a disallowed goal (which was NOT offside) a couple of times bar was hit...29 shots at goal....how did your lot do - at Rochdale was it ? Keep mouthing off about gap in class yet your boys can't cut it at ANY level. Still early days though. But we WON'T be struggling. You lot WILL Change places !
