Laurent Koscienly bottles it again Next time he talks he should think before trying to compare himself to Big Wes Wes win trophies
And Leicester City began their pre-season training, with Riyad Mahrez looking very happy to be back. http://ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/624/cpsprodpb/48C5/production/_90392681_leicester.jpg
Liverpool fan in peace - a belated congratulations to LCFC for winning the PL. The best thing to have happened for a generation. I don't buy any of this one off season rubbish. There is nothing stopping LC from being in the top 4 at the end of 2016/7 season.
Recorded the above and just watched it. Any other old farts out there may be interested to know that we won 5-1 with Peter Rodrigues, Jackie Sinclair (2), Mike Stringfellow and a magnificent chip from Davie Gibson. The team was :- Banks Rodrigues Cross Sjoberg Norman Sinclair Goodfellow Gibbo Roberts String Dougan. Was hilarious to hear the rattles whirling after the first goal, and watching a Burnley player hop off the pitch to receive treatment rather than rolling around on the floor. The pitch was virtually Baseball Ground standards - no sign of grass anywhere. To all who never saw Davie Gibson play, think Mahrez and then add some.
I remember being at that game. I think we had been on the end of a 4-1 beating by them a few weeks before. There were some real City legends on show in that one. Davie Gibson must have been the bargain of the century for £25k. The Doog was one of the best out and out centre forwards we ever had, and what an entertainer. Jackie Sinclair could be a world beater of a winger on his day. In fact the whole team was capable of entertaining. There was skill everywhere you looked and just a wee bit of Scottish grit and aggression from the team minder - Bobby Roberts. Woe betide any defender who decided to have a snap at Gibbo! Fantastic Saturday entertainment for about 25p (if I remember rightly).
They beat us 5-2, three weeks before. Was in the Holt End with my uncle (Villa fan) when Bobby Roberts ripped the net with a 30 yarder for a 1-0 win, and then listened to him moan for 3 hours afterwards saying they should have won. Don't suppose I helped much by laughing at him.
Premier League-winning midfielder Danny Drinkwater showed off his six-pack and tweeted "training's going well" with Leicester.

Chelsea twice in the next three or four matches. It's IMPOSSIBLE to know which Leicester will turn up, the team which lost 4-1 or the team which won 0-3. Could be you'll do better in one competition than another.
I was wondering what the thoughts of those who have seen most of the matches this season are regarding Slimani. Early days yet, I know, but does he look like a £30 million striker? Does he offer much/any more than Ulloa? Are we playing in a way that suits his strengths?
He has been playing a supporting role to Vardy so this could be an ideal time for him to be the focal point - would like to see Ulloa supporting him tbh as haveing two big centre forwards would cause defenses to **** themselves and mean that there could be more space for Mahrez and Drinkwater to do their things as players are being held back to cover them both.
