... just finished brekkie in the restaurant ... treated myself to 'Full English Friday" ... tend to go a bit healthier during the week ... very nice grub I have to say ... now just having my Costa latte (we have franchises in our restaurants) back at my desk .... Costa is subsidised ... half-price compared to the high street ... try and keep myself down to a couple per day ...

Busy day tomorrow ... gotta take the youngest to Lunnon to get new 'pointe' shoes' for ballet (all 3 of my girls are dancers) ... need to plan it around the lunchtime kick-off against United ...

Anyway ... good morning you bunch of ***** ... another day another dollar <laugh>

  4. Has anyone told Bambi that the clever money is no longer placed on that whole "all Mousers claim benefits" crack? Obvious not.

Since the damning exposes during the 70s by cutting-edge documentaries and fly-on-the-wall programs, such as Panorama and Bread, times have moved on. Us normal fans no longer look upon all Mousers as scrounging, work-shy, wise-cracking chancers. Only some of them.

  7. I'm looking forward to getting home for the weekend, loving the missus, cuddling my 6 year old, and playing a gig with the boys in the band (we have a double-header, tonight and tomorrow night).

You work away from home a hell of a lot for a top notch commercial property lawyer. They tend to be chained to their offices as they don't physically need to see the asset. Their role is administrative.

    He's no ****ing lawyer! <laugh>
My father in law was a conveyance lawyer, and like you said, he was chained to his desk pretty much 12 hours a day.

Apart from your claim to be a hotshot commercial property lawyer and the most cost efficient residential developer in the UK.

Who seems to spend midweek living in a Travelodge in Exeter while his wife drives around in a car that cost as much as a DFS sofa.

  15. I am not a Conveyancer. I never said I was a Conveyancer.

Conveyancing is about as dull as estate agency.

  16. Exactly. I tell you what you want to hear, Lightning. Which is what I said before <doh>.

You really ought to listen to people.

By the way, Exeter was a few months ago, now. I've been all over the place, since then, Lightning.

  17. No. Elton will be ripping Skiddy's ring at that Marc Almond reunion gig.

    Keep up, Bambi.

And then you have a monumental tantrum when anyone picks holes in your story, threatening to sue for defamation. <laugh>
