On Saturday @Holden Chinaski gave you a Fortnum and Mason's match thread, tonight you will have to do with a Lidls version from Royston <cheers>

Riding on the crest of a wave after a thumping 3-0 win against the Mighty Coventry on Saturday, Uncle Fester's 15th placed team embark on the second leg of the 20 game winning run that we all suspected they were always capable of.

With Andrew Crofts pulling the strings in midfield with displays reminiscent of Pirlo at his peak, and 37 year old Lee Novak attracting covetous glances from Arsenal and Chelsea, there appears to be no limits to what Slade's expensively assembled team can achieve this season.

For those who haven't been to Vale's home in the Potteries suburbs...congratulations. I am not saying it is rough and tatty, but Burslem makes Thamesmead look like Belgravia. I last went there in the 90's when Vale's vast empty bowl of a stadium looked very similar to what the Valley now looks like on a Saturday in 2016.

Any winning scoreline is possible tonight with Grandmaster Slade pulling the tactical strings, and Saturday's standout player Morgan Fox marauding down the wing (regardless of where the ball is).

However, I am predicting a 1-0 Port Vale win and the lone shout from the one travelling fan in our away end (Seb Lewis) of

    "Where's Elf?"

See I was predicting a loss too; more so as they got a point to prove after being spanked 4 - 0 by Sheffield United.

What a grim prospect travelling up there on a Tuesday.

I am going 1-1 with the 'the bald fat man' going for a 4-5-1 tactic and a p1ss poor match

Also, I'm away next Saturday (Chesterfield), and between the 9th - 23rd November in the USA; so won't be writing anything.

Londons kind of bugging me, so need to get the hell out of it.

Hats off to Vol for managing to find something to write about for this fixture. If Vale had a scout watching us on Saturday he will have noticed how easily Fox got skinned a few times, so I expect he will get targetted, and I predict a 2-1 home win.

As I kept saying to you on Saturday Bill, Foxy seems to be playing as a left sided centre back rather than a left back which is giving the left mid of the opposition far too much room

Admittedly changing direction is not his strong point.

Or from Mrs. May, who said a few weeks ago that it was not in Britain's interest to leave the single market. She says she is coming after the tax dodgers- does that include Mr. May's firm, which has not paid any corporation tax since 2009?<laugh>

And if I haven't paid any tax since 2009 they'd have slung me in jail.

    Not paying taxes is smart.

In that respect I bet Russell Slade pays all of his.

    Score draw tonight.
